BU wins after a terrible decision by Pilate to get caught shoving a guy in the crease. Army likely out for the tourney now.

BU scores 3 of last 4 goals all in about the last minute and a half,

they get the overtime game winner.

Love watching this team. Perfetto is special.

Was hoping for another Army/Navy game. Just a brutal incident on the crease, and when someone falls in crease ref has to call something.

Felt like we were heading that way. Pilate is a hell of a defender but you gotta now time and score, you wanna do that in the first half fine, but 10 secs left in a tied game is insane especially knowing you probably need that game to solidify a tourney appearance. Army also has no business only scoring 10 goals with their best O unit in probably a decade +. BUs a good team but 10 goals or less in two matchups?

Yea….something changed mid to late season with Army’s offense…. there was a visible and significant difference in their flow and speed.

Refs, all game calling ticky tac bs in Lehigh's favor. This game is too big for that.

Congrats Lehigh... nice team!

Unsportsmanlike call on Perfetto leading to Lehigh goal was ridiculous. Good job ref.

Not sure about best offense in a decade

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better top 6 on paper. Morin, Plunkett, Eichwr Burek etc. I don't know what happened to that offense the last quarter of the year but it fell off a cliff from the one I saw against Rutty and Syracuse.

Army for whatever reason has been unable to sustain early level of play in many seasons. Had thought at start of 24' that this could be their year given their arsenall but began to realize that their overall defense was not as good as usual. Thought that would be their downfall not their offense. I dont see them making tourney

Maybe not but in 2022 they averaged same amount of points per game with less touches, both good in their own way.

So let me get this right. Lehigh can chirp at Perfetto all game from the sidelines and Perfetto gestures at them to keep it coming after a call and that's a 1 minute locked in unsportsmanlike? Seems ridiculous at this level in any game, never mind a championship game. I'm not going to say it cost BU the game, because they still manage to go up by 3 early in the 4th, but sill annoying.

Beckhamlax... hope you didn't misread my post and reading it again I can see how you might have... my bad.

It was a horrible call on Perfetto/BU allowing Lehigh to score on the ensuing man up to get back within 2. My post "good job ref"... all sarcasm.

Year in, year out, Lehigh is the PL leader in chirping. That call should not have been made.

And just to be clear... by "nice team" I meant talent-wise. ;)

Was rooting for BU to get the AQ. That said... Go Lehigh, beat Hopkins!

Was looking at some stats and Lehigh's Sophomore LSM #45 Richard Checo has put up crazy numbers... again.

In his first 2 years at Lehigh he's had: 2 G's, 4A's, 99 CT's and 122 Gb's.
One caused turnover away from 100 in his career, with at least one more game to make it happen.

2023: 4 A's, 54 CT's and 64 gb's.
2024 (so far): 2 G's, 45 CT's and 58 GB's.

He had 8 GB's and 8 CT's in the semi-final vs Navy. This kid is awesome. Haven't seen much on him this year, but he deserves an appreciation post.

Thats been lehighs style for years under Cassesse. That why they all lose their s**t and cnat handle it when they dont get calls and act like jerks as has been observed.
