If you watch the replay, one ref was looking down at the player’s feet and he rushed over to the other ref. The ref from behind the play immediately shut him up and put up his hand for a goal. Why not even discuss???

Too bad #1 didn’t go to Navy where he originally committed.

There should be replay but also it's their job and these are supposed to be the best refs out there. Make the right call

Wow. I’m stunned. This NCAA championship is now tainted for history. Can the two coaches and refs really not come together to agree that the goal was illegitimate? If this is allowed, I seriously believe the integrity of this NCAA championship is illegitimate. Wow! Tamari I needs to fight for this.

Far side goal line official who has responsibility for the called looked like he had his view obscured for a second which is why I am floored that the call is not reviewable. The far side official was in the right spot on the goal line extended where he should be. Where is the third official supposed to be on that play? up top opposite the ball?

Not a good look for sport or NCAA.

Didn't they reverse a call last weekend in the Army game?

it was quick but how do you know that they didn't? all he had to say was goal and they're confirmed.

How can the rules committee be so imbecilic?

Duke also suffers to some extent. Through no fault of their own, their continued participation in the tournament is now tainted.

I agree it was a bad call, but I disagree with the announcers who want more video reviews. Football is much less watchable with video reviews, and imagine being in the stands during an interminable review?
