I was a little disappointed in the SMCM showing. I really thought they were on the rise and I thought York was taking a few steps back.

SMCM moved the ball well early. Seemed to keep it close the first qtr. 20 at fogo dominated today. I bet he won 75% of his faceoffs. . But besides that, it was all York. I think it was 4-2 after 1. Maybe 7-3 at half. Maybe 15-5 after 3 and final was 17-7

33 did not play. That might have made a little difference

York played their starters into the 3rd qtr. SMCM started putting the second and third string in after the first quarter. In the second half the for SMCM starters were on the bench and I'm glad Childs played the young kids to see what he has for the spring.

This is not true as both teams played their top kids through 3 quarters and then subbed their younger kids in the 4th.

A lot of kids played early and often for SMCM. I cant speak for York's subbing patterns. I don't follow them as well as Asgot.

Anyone attending the opening day vs. SVU?

By all accounts, it should be great weather day, and in our favor of outcome. Anything others are looking to see this year?

Yep interested in seeing how the FOGO's and goalies do this year. Who replaces #3 and who replaces the left attack

Freshmen goalie look excellent against BRIDGEWATER. Made some nice saves and had some good clears as well. Looking forward to seeing #35 back in the crease. He was outstanding before his injury

Excellent against Bridgewater is not the same as Messiah, Dickinson, Salisbury, etc. This team has one quality win and may not get another looking at the schedule. Will probably make the tourney but not a lot to brag about on the River.

I will give the kid credit. He's outplayed the grad student goalie and took the job last weekend. Does he continue to be in goal, one would hope so! Injury to the FOGO truly hurts

Freshmen came up big in the 4th quarter and beat Messiah 19-15

SV% .527 .426
SF 119 98
GA 31 29
2-0 2-1

Pick the goalie thats played the best

can someone that follows this team closer than me explain this team. they lose to RMC and elizabethtown, but can play close with top teams like middlebury and Dickinson.
