Maryland’s MIAA (high school) teams would beat these teams.

SKUD… nice of you to join us. Thanks for poking our southern neighbors in the NCAC thread. Gave me a good chuckle. Not sure I want BIGDAWG roaming these woods.

Good joke… I remember hearing that one 10 years ago. Maybe hit the drawing board and circle back with us when you have some new material.

Good game with Adrian and Calvin and Alma and the Zoo is close. Adrian v Hope next week :o very curious on that one. Does not get easier for Trine.

Tuesday pick ‘em…

Calvin over Kzoo
Albion over Trine
Hope over Adrian

First two games are pretty straight forward. I’m a lover of the sauce Wetzel is brewing down south but this squad is still a year or two away from returning to the promise land. Unfortunately when they get punched in the face, they lose by 7-8 goals. I’m expecting that type of goal differential on Tuesday night.

I'm going with the upset, Adrian over Hope!

Calvin by 5

Albion, starters out by mid 3rd period.

Jace Conley from Albion is sitting at 391 career points (69 games), it's possible he gets to 400 tomorrow which would be a pretty rare achievement. I don't think the Conference has had anyone get 400 career points. He is also 22 goals away from 300, which only 1 person has done thus far (several will have done it after this year). He will not be back for a 6th year though like a lot of these guys, he is getting married and moving on. He has had a great career though for a kid from Michigan.

Some surprising scores tonight, good job to Trine for making it a game, they played hard. Albion’s Defense is just not good. The officials were God awful though. Surprised Calvin lost, great job KZoo. Hope seemed in control the whole game so there goes my upset. Adrian vs Albion Friday will be a good one. Congrats to Conley on getting 400 career points.

Anyone have insight on the KZoo game? That one was a surprise.

Circle the calendar - April 29th for Trine vs Kzoo. Assuming Kzoo wins, we would see the following conference tourney and semi matchups:

(4) Kzoo at (1) Albion
(3) Adrian at (2) Hope

I think that 3 and 4 are too early to call. There still may be some surprises in the last week of the season!

Bad matchup for Adrian, FO and Albion Attack just did major damage. This one was over after the 1st. I still think Adrian has a chance to win a game in the playoff.

19-5 at half… sheeeesh! Amazed the bussy didn’t drive away and let the boys walk home.

This does not surprise me one bit about Adrian. Face off X is struggling, 55% on the clear, and losing the ground ball battle (even after carving out faceoffs). Can’t expect to take the next step when you can’t do the little things right.

Congrats to Albion on a well deserved win. I saw 450 people at the game?! Can we get a fact check on that or is the SID pumping up the stat sheet?

There were a lot of people for sure, no idea about 450

Big game Wednesday with Trine and Adrian, is winner in and loser out?

Trine needs to win to have a chance to stay in conference playoff contention. Adrian already has 3 wins so I think they are set for a spot.

I think that 3 & 4 spots are down to Adrian, Kzoo and Trine. Calvin has to beat Hope to finish with 3 wins (not likely). Adrian has Trine. Kzoo has Albion and Trine. Game with the biggest impact on all of this is Adrian-Trine. Wed. night in Adrian should be lit (as the kids say)! 8-)

For the ‘fifth’ year in a row, we’ll see a Hope vs Albion championship. My pick is Albion.

Congrats to Kzoo on a program best!

Dawgs need to do some soul searching this off-season. More question marks heading into the summer than last fall. The lack of upperclassman and consistency at the faceoff X and between the pipes showed. I still believe this group is 2-3 years away from taking the next step, but this sophomore album curse showed up at the back end of the season.
