Does GU have any fall ball events this year?

Also, on the recruiting front, MD, the ACC and Ivies have been lining up Top 50 commitments rapidly. GU has some nice pickups so far, but things seem a bit slower than the past few years so far.

For fall - Nothing away from alumni game and intrasquad blue gray matchups as in the past. 3 boys signed so far are all top kids. Warne and staff have more big signings coming I’d bet.

Love him and miss him but I think the current staff is just fine on the recruiting front.

"Instead, it’s noticing that Warne used only eight reserves — three short stick defensive midfielders, two poles, a faceoff man and one offensive midfielder, plus two-way midfielder Dylan Hess — against the Blue Hens.

“You can’t win like that,” Warne said. “We played 18 guys in a playoff game. That’s not going to cut it.”

I wonder if Hogan will be more likely to play a deeper bench.

Fun fact and a bit of Gtown history and tradition:

Upcoming defenseman commitments Steve Schummer and Matt Rienzo are both Jrs whose dads played together on the 1997 team that was the first in Gtown history to make the NCAA playoffs.

With GU not playing outside competition this fall, is there any word on how fall ball is going?

Any any freshmen possibly in line for playing time this year? How is GU filling in open slots at LSM and SSDM? And who has the lead on filling in on attack?

Not a perfect way to judge but game vs alumni this weekend should give a glimpse.

ugh, two misspellings of McDonogh.
I'd have thought that at least one of you would have gotten it right.

What are some of the variations on Manhasset?
Do they drop the second S ? or use an a instead of e?

As a lax guy, I'd certainly know the correct spelling...lotta great players out of Manhasset!
In any case, good for Georgetown folks to learn the proper spelling of McDonogh given looks like you'll have a couple on the roster. ;)

Of course, the kings of getting their school name misspelled are Johns Hopkins ('John Hopkins') folks.
Irks'em no end...very rare for a lax person to make that error though.

Of course there is a McDonough with a “u” in Maryland, but is, an the parlance of the black clad bigots who taught me for a couple of years, a PS.
