His performance when Moore was hurt was what probably moved him down.
I believe he got hurt himself.
Did he? He hit a cold streak at the end of the season… but hadn’t heard about an injury.
I believe he took a hard hit that could have injured his shoulder but he played through it. His production dropped off after that but I didn’t hear anything official.
maybe shoulder, didn't miss much time.
the hoos by good fortune got what they needed. rest. if mostly healed up, they'll have the chance to make noise, but they'll have to play better consistently and had better clean up things defensively. it won't happen just because they made late runs in previous years.
Wait a minute! I thought in lacrosse past results reflect future performance!!
that's mutual funds.

He's become very physical and really helps in clearing and in the transition game. He's always making the right pass. Being a former O middie helps in those situations.
Puglise (and pretty much all of the Terps SSDMs) have been so good that teams are actually going after Makar and Zapitello, sometimes using picks to free up the attackers. Just check out the highlights of the last two Rutgers-Maryland games. I counted half a goal given up by Puglise over those two games (it could have easily been put on Prybylski).

Not what conventionally happens, but matchups are probably part of it (i.e. Maryland isolating long sticks on the quickest attackers, and not switching).
Puglise is excellent. I don’t think we need to knock down one guy to promote the other IMO...The point is that Kamish is an excellent SDDM...one of the best in the nation, not debatable and yet he flys under the radar...

Kamish matched up with Donville most of both games and didn’t give up a goal with limited slide support. He also drew Kyle Long on a number of occasions...Kamish did give up 1 goal in the two Maryland matchups...late in the BTT game late in the 4th qtr after playing way more defense than any Maryland SSDM...it was the only goal he gave up in the two games...I think it was to Brennan (41)...face off disparity killed the Rutgers defense...among other things 😉

Like Puglise, he is the definition of a lock down SSDM

Kamish is also very good on offense....not just bounce shots in odd man run outs...but iso on matchups taking guys to the cage. I just looked it up...last year Kamish had 6/3 ( 9 points), this year less at 3/1...but again that’s all based on opportunities.

Again, I think Puglise is excellent. I think the point is in a league that values guys that can get out in transition, play good defense, and score...it’s puzzling how Kamish didn’t get drafted...

I haven’t watched Kamish closely enough to really compare him against Puglise - 1766 said he rated Kamish above Puglise. And for Kamish to limit Donville and Long is impressive; both are very athletic and effective offensively in different ways. All that being said, I’ll take my guy. ;)
