If we're not there, we are closing in on it. They are 2-5 with games against Jax (W?), Yale (W?), Duke (L?), UNC (L), BC (L) Pitt (W?), Marquette (W) and Louisville (W?). Say they are 4-8 when they get to the last three? Uh oh.

Carner's successful FPS further confuses me as to why one would ever back off the eight meter, dead nuts on the center hash (you allowed to use nuts in wlax?) in a situation where you're looking to score goals. #1 FPS attempt, back off, no goal. #2 attempt from the same spot, go to the cage and put it by the goalie, one goal. Backing out of that shot makes zero sense and always will.

Three pretty decent games today included on the schedule, but we have to wait till this evening (6 pm) to watch them.
The best of the bunch is #12 Florida at #9 Loyola. (Does the "...and we got whistles" guy still call the Loyola home games, Doc?)
UMass at #19 Vanderbilt is also good considering the great one woman play-by-play/color commentator in the booth calling Vandy home games--Michelle Sebastian.
And lastly, way out west there's #19 Colorado at #17 USC. Just can't get interested in any of the western teams apart from Stanford though.
I dont see the UVA game getting played today. Snow is coming down hard here in NoVA
[edit] JMU, VCU, MD games might not get played either unless they can go indoors....

MD and JMU announced yesterday their games are rescheduled to Sunday due to expected bad weather. Have not seen anything for VCU or UVA. Does UVA have an indoor option?
