I've long thought Duke made the most sense from a lacrosse and academic perspective. Great school, great chance at a Final Four or better and he'd slide right in as that team's quarterback on offense for the next two years. I'd love to say Hopkins fits the bill too but would they really want to risk messing with Epstein's development as the future of that team? Also not sure how he'd mesh with Teat at Cornell. So of the schools he listed I would say Duke is the favorite and I suppose I could see UNC as a possibility as well. They sure could use Gray.

Duke and UNC are too far away from Long Island (Wading River, NY). Syracuse offers a great lacrosse tradition, but is that school really much of an academic upgrade over BU? Cornell? Please.

Think it’s pretty much settled ... Chris Gray is headed to Johns Hopkins.
