Per poster Trotsky at elynah,
First shutout by a Cornell goaltender in an NCAA game since The Shutout.

Thank you ESPN for moving the game to SUNDAY as the weather Saturday looks horrific BUT the forecast for Sunday looks even better, high near 48 and mostly Sunny.
Should be a great day at the Kopf, especially if this forecast holds.
Finally get to watch this great team Live.
Nothing better than the Kopf in the Spring watching Cornell Lax.

Happy for you, jw, the Kopf is a nice place to watch a game on a sunny day, hopefully not much of a wind chill factor going on.
In other good news, it's still March so green attire is perfectly acceptable.
Forecast in the Dome for tomorrow's Cuse-Bart game is calling for perfect conditions here in the Cuse.

I am surprised that Penn is #15/16, they are better than that ranking.

Thanks Dmac. I know your comment on the Dome weather was a little tongue and cheek shot at us Cornellians who have to pray for decent weather.
Good luck against Bart. I see some on this forum are predicting a Cuse Wipeout, but Bart is a strange team and seem to sometimes rise to the occasion against Cuse.
Our game with Penn will be a real dogfight as they always play us tough.

Yup, I never count Bart out v Cuse they always bring it.
I'm anything but a Bart hater too, will always have a
fondness for the Statesmen. First place I ever saw lacrosse
was at the Boz, HS coach was a Bart boy (outstanding coach),
been to a lot of fantastic games there. Best line ever heard
was there...BEND OVER AND LOOK AT THE GAME WITH YOUR
GOOD EYE, REF!!! Bart fan wasn't happy with the call. Bart
fans are great.

And to your point about the Dome and great weather, as a Long Island native, I still completely prefer the games outdoors as opposed to the artificialness of indoors, although when the windchill is 10 and it's snowing, that's when I wish Cornell had an indoor facility. I don't think I ever saw live an indoor lax game until I went to Syracuse/Cornell game at the Dome.

Prefer outdoors as well but love that Dome for Feb and March games though.
First indoor game I ever saw was in the Dome too, didn't like it (big Bart fan
at the time).

Took golf lessons there taught by former Cornell oarsman Clayton Chapman who later became head of the ECAC.

Don't remember that but I do remember the Tennis courts in the Bubble that I believe were right about where the wrestling facility is now.
How about having to go all the way out to Game Farm Road now to watch Baseball as old Hoy Field is about to become another ugly monstrous building. I loved Hoy and watching players hit bombs into the Parking Garage.

Back when I worked on campus, I would take a late lunch on a sunny spring day, grab a couple of hot dogs from the vendor in front of Day Hall, and walk over to watch a couple of innings at Hoy Field...
