Very few mainstream journalists anymore are impartial observers. Many Republicans objected to guys like John Harwood (D-NBC) getting a slot to attack Republicans but the Republicans back then had no spine. Now that the base has risen up, no need to constantly compromise with folks who clearly are against you.

You can spin this however you like but with the thorny issue of immigration reform hanging over Bidens head wave after wave of illegals showing up on his doorstep and his solution is get em the hell out of here. No blinders but I do still have a nice pair of Oakley's. In the meantime I hope Abbott keeps sending these folks right to DC. Let them become Bidens problem. The only limit is how many buses he can round up. I think it is a brilliant solution. If immigration is the federal governments responsibility then place that responsibility squarely on their shoulders.
