My buddy has 3 girls, one prettier then the next. Some of the outfits they wear...I have to look away. Feeling borderline "uncle pervy" just being in the same room with them.LandM wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 4:02 pm Kramerica
At PSU we are in the last row of the RV section - across from us starts the cars section. There are some very prominent Philly people who park in three slots next to each other- all have kids that attend college there. There kids are all in sororities. So two hours before game time their party begins. When it is hot for games i cannot tell you how short the shorts are our how tiny the shirts are. Obviously I never saw that at AFA but did at Berkeley but back then there was more modesty then today. People want to know why there can be trouble - come hang out at the home on wheels pre-game. I think some people come over for the scenery and it is not Mount Nittany.
Showing too much skin is NOT the trigger of the vast majority of sexual assaults. And certainly not who's to blame. I think most normal men are typically mesmerized in the presence of too much skin. Women who show too much skin, get what the want -

Sexual assault is luckily on a downward trend overall the past few decades, even as modesty disappears. There were some skimpy outfits back in the hippie days, along with the Daisy Dukes with a setthemfree halter top. In todays world, Clinton would not only be impeached for lying, he would have had real issues with sexual harassment lawsuits, etc. (ggait spells this out elsewhere)
He Said/She Said is leaning more toward women then back in the day, which it should.
Both can be true. Not to put to fine a point on it, girls / woman can dress like sluts but it is still not kosher to treat them that way. It is gross hypocrisy on the part of woman, but it is still not kosher to take advantage of them. We are dealing with sex, a subject which is irrational at its best in the minds of American women. viva la difference!LandM wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:35 am Holmes,
Will agree to disagree at least where we sit. Somewhere I read, must have been the WSJ, that 60% of females on college campuses have had some unwanted sexual advances. You have more knowledge on this then I but to me it still begs the question. When we go on the lake, we avoid the park area as there the suits are dental floss it may not create issues, you know better then I but it sure provides for allot of gawking. I am not a prud just seems that is not helping the situation IMHO.
A lot of those ASC girls wouldn't be interested .Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 6:41 amGa techs girls are aesthetically gross, why so many males shoot over to Agnes Scott to find wives, but you’d be screwed in ACC/sec country.
Then I suggest you read up on a few of the many studies of causes of sexual assaults. It's an eye-opening subject, and It's not men assaulting women because of bikinis. Most assaults are from boyfriends / girlfriends or acquaintances, most involve alcohol and some involve date rape drugs. Rape and assault are much mostly about power than simply sex.LandM wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 3:35 am Holmes,

Emory, Georgia State and Kennesaw State are better areas from my short experience in Atlanta.
If you are a parent of a child that has not yet graduated HS/college.and do not have social media,,,,,you are intentionally sticking your head in the mud, or are simply so naive to what is going on in the world of teenagers.holmes435 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 1:47 pmThen I suggest you read up on a few of the many studies of causes of sexual assaults. At the same time I'll be preparing my own daughter as best I can to protect herself and know how to avoid or leave bad situations and people who may want to take advantage of her. While most victims aren't to be blamed, there are ways to avoid being a victim sometimes.
Today's hook up culture is not leading to more sexual assaults. Also, even with all that wild stuff you mention, teens are actually having less sex than previous generations.youthathletics wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 4:09 pm If you are a parent of a child that has not yet graduated HS/college.and do not have social media,,,,,you are intentionally sticking your head in the mud, or are simply so naive to what is going on in the world of teenagers.
It is effing insane what is going on out there. Especially on Snapchat type apps, where it is not uncommon for girls to send nudes. A BJ is actually now what Bill Clinton called it.....not sex, and a casual no big deal form of 'hey hows it going - lets hook up'. I am active on Instagram and Twitter (which is seldom used anyomore) and follow a bunch of college accounts, in a sense I wish I was this was going on when I was their age......then again, I am so glad it was not like that. It is thinner than a razors edge out there to be accused of sexual assault or anything either side wants to claim.
It's such a strange time, I'm glad I never had to deal with most of this, especially digital cameras.youthathletics wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 9:37 pm No doubt Holmes. College campuses are all in 100% with sexual abuse departments, more-so now than at anytime in history. And as I highlighted in red, alcohol is often the common denominator. With two sons in college, I hear all the stories of what is going on, i’ll Just leave it at that. Thank God both my sons have steady long standing girlfriends and are not out there flirting with disaster
He says: “It’s like going up to a girl in a bar … (inaudible) …going up to a woman in a bar and saying, hey I want to talk about what’s in your pants.”
“I mean the, the most stupid thing you can do, which is what every mutual fund firm in the world always did, was to brag about performance, uh, in, in a direct mail piece, which is a little bit like walking into a bar if you’re a single guy and you want to get laid and walking up to some girl and saying, ‘Hey, you want to have sex?’” Fisher said.
“I don’t know if I could, but if I was 30 years old and I had to do over again, I’d have more sex while I, while I could, while I could, when once you get older, you know, once you get older, you know you’re like a Christmas tree, you know you’re, you’re firm once a year and the balls are just for decoration,” he said.
