Off-ball defense was not great, but Richmond had *54* possessions. 24% offensive efficiency is not amazing; you'd like to see it a bit lower from the Maryland perspective, but the turnovers giving Richmond so many extra possessions and not being able to sustain possessions on offense in the 3Q was a big part of it too; cut Richmond's possessions by like 7-8 and they score 10 instead of 13. Think adjusting to a faster tempo is a part of some of the defensive issues and off-ball leakiness is more fixable than getting beat off the dodge routinely. Not great, but not as scary as it looks on paper.

Brennan and Maltz having multi point games again is great to see, all 6 starting dudes can make things happen and that's gonna make this offense basically unguardable

Shockey wasn't injured. They went with Trucksess by design. Might be part of building greater depth. On another board, someone noticed, too, that Higgins had a long pole and was playing LSM. Rahill did look like he hurt his arm/should in the HP game but came back into that game to finish it. Ubriaco hasn't dressed so far. Long is still day-to-day with a lower body injury. Welding still isn't dressing. So it seems as though the Terps are down quite a few front line people.

Took the drive to Richmond. They have very nice stadium and it was a great atmosphere with the crowd getting into the game.

The game really seem to change in Maryland favor with Geppert goal and Trucksess seem to start giving them a chance

Missing starter today was Rahill. He was on the sideline with no visible injury. So that make three starters, Long, Welding,Rahill. Also still no sign of Ubrico.

They've got great facilities, don't they? IMO, they could make a jump to be the next Denver. Smaller, private school. Really good resources. Better access to talent than Denver.

you sure about that? He took a hard blindside hit to the chest, the kind of blind hit that the NFL made illegal a year ago.

I sort of wonder about that too. I can't see sitting Shockey with the game on the line unless he is banged up.

Stat sheet also showed the N DeMaio didn’t play. Injured in HP game?

He was dress to play. Thinking maybe because it was a close game he did not get in. Thought he might get put in for man-up in place of Maltz.

Also surprised that Bubba didn’t get put out as the third attack towards the last few points.

Very impressed with Brennan. It will be hard to move him 2nd midfield when Long comes back. But maybe Long will move to attack.

Logan movement has really improved over his time at Maryland.

That's the official word from Maryland. Not injured. Wanted to give Trucksess the reps. I didn't make that up.

I’d move Long to attack; Maltz hasn’t done anything wrong and has been solid, but need to get Long on the field when he’s healthy. And he’s more of an attackmen than he is a midfielder anyway so it’ll be a good fit. That’ll be an even more dangerous 6 than they’ve got now when he’s back

Perhaps it was just a minor thing, sort of like a flesh wound or something.

Hey Wheels “Official Word” look at you you’re are real big shot. So should us lowly minions believe that Tills was in such a giving moment that he chose to put his #3 fogo on the field and jeopardize his teams chance to win. What’s next sitting Brandau v Penn so his 3rd or 4th goalie options gets to see some shots.
