Draft Summary

Round 1: Will Peden FR A Penn State
Peden scored 29 goals and had 61 assists for 91 points as a senior at Malvern Prep.

Round 2: Jeffrey Ricciardelli FR A Notre Dame
He is reuniting with Pat Kavanagh, his former teammate at Taft, with whom he made a lethal tandem. Ricciardelli scored 63 goals as a sophomore at Taft playing alongside Kavanagh.

Round 4: Josh Tang FR A UMBC
Good size and athleticism. Good shooter. All-MSCLA first team attackman in 2021. Probably versatile enough to run midfield.

Question,

If we drafted a military academy freshman that is due to join the team in 2021 according to IL and graduation year etc, and then they go for a year in MAPS for example and join the main squad in 2022, do we keep the player or lose them because they were picked before they entered the roster but we couldnt know they would go to MAPS. For example Army does not have its 2022 roster posted so that could easily happen this year.

Thanks in advanced for clarification

Interesting question.

There are players that “commit” to a school but then go for a PG year or reclassify from say a 21 to a 22.

If you draft a PG, you lose him. Player needs to be on the team roster come February.

FCA picking. DU can pick at 12:01 AM EST on Wednesday morning.

Thanks. I hope he stays a 5th year. We will see. It is nice to match up options.

I think it would be easier if the next pick is 24 hours from the time stamp of the last pick.

For example, my last pick was at 9:51 pm (Denver time) or 11:51 pm (Baltimore time) on Tues.

I think it is easier if GCC's deadline is 11:51 pm (Baltimore time) on Wed.

I get confused, especially in these late rounds. If a pick is made at 8 AM, is the next pick deadline midnight on the same day or the next day? I am pretty sure it is the next day, but that is giving 40 hours for a pick, which seems excessive.

If a pick is made in Calif or Denver after 9/10 PM, the deadline is almost 48 hours away. It would be even more confusing for me in the UK. :?
