Mayor of San Francisco just gave interview that calls BS on the Trumpnista and democratic far left argument that Harris was too tough, locking up people unreasonably.

Have heard a number of reports that Latinos will come out for Harris because of her immigrant background.

Looks like the Biden people are going to have to break out the knee pads when dealing with the far left wing. They ain't a liking the Kamala pick all that much. I wonder how the dems buy their silence? :D I wonder how Joe looks in a blue dress? :o
The Daily Mail? Now there’s a reputable source if there ever was one.
Did they make up all those quotes they published? A broken clock is right twice a day. If what they published here is bogus, please let me know.
She also writes articles for AP. Are they reputable?
I have no idea. But I do know the Daily Mail is a right wing rag which was the point of my post. The left wing of the party has by and large been supportive. Everyone? Of course not, but the pick has been very well received in general. I have posted multiple times, including yesterday after she was announced, that I don’t like her and would’ve preferred someone else.

I don't really disagree with you. I do know there are extreme fringe elements of the Democrat party that do not like her. Her tough on crime approach as AG in Cally is now something she has to distance herself from.

When it comes time to vote there isn't a single FLP who'll cut off their nose to spite their face. I dare say FLPs hate Trump as much, if not more, than I.

Of course they don't like her. Or Biden, for that matter. They're both center right. Actual far left liberals know this. They know that Biden won't govern over ANY major course changes to the USS America.

The libs lost in 2020. The moderate right won.

It may be a little too early to say that. There is a hardcore group of the extreme left that is expecting big things on their agenda from Joe.

Is Harris a liberal extremist or a snub to liberal extremists? The GOP can’t decide.
Both!!
How about a glass of STFU?
Let's order Petey a Double Big Gulp just to be safe/sure. Under the circumstances, Mike Bloomberg will allow it.

You don't remember hearing the same nonsense when Obama was elected? Twice.

What happened? Did the 1% have more, or less money after Obama left? How was life for the working class, versus how was life for multinational corporations? It's not even a close call, Cradle.

And if McConnell keeps his job? What bills do you think will pass?

Hint: none. Just like the last 6 years of Obama's tenure.

You remember that book by SE Hinton... That Was Then, This is Now? I don't think the extreme wing has any patience left. They want what they want and they want it right now. I don't think comparing the mood in America today to just 4 years ago is relevant. There are way more angry people on both sides.

That's great that they want things. I want a balanced budget and to end all corporate tax breaks.

In what world am I going to get what I want?

Happy to take any and all wagers that every single major problem we have in America.....immigration reform, health care reform, cost of education/training, spending, deficit, infrastructure.....they'll all be there in 2024, regardless of who wins in November.

We haven't had major legislation and a major change in how America operates (that's the FoxNation fear) since the 1960's. What would possibly make you think that Joe Biden would think about changing that scorecard?

It ain't happening. The left has no power.

Remember what happened after all that upheaval in the 1960's? That was a major league cultural change, Cradle.

What did we get from that? Those revolutionary hippies sold out and became Yuppies....and brought us Reagan.

If Bernie had won? Different story. America and Dems rejected that path.

The path American Dems chose couldn't be any more clear: status quo, please, without the crazy guy on TV every day. That's it.

I can't disagree with a word you said. The more things change the more they really do stay the same.

I have to clarify my comment to you. If the Dems take the senate, keep the house and win the White House all bets are off. Whatever the far left people want they will get. Checks and balances are as bad as the electoral college when one party rules all three.

So -- just wondering -- election fraud is cool if it's done by Republicans, right? The functional campaign chairman of TP 2020 meeting with Kanye. What happened to whatever was the moral center of the GOP?

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... ce=twitter

"The New York Times, which first reported the meeting, said it took place in Colorado last weekend and also included President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka, Kushner’s wife and another top White House adviser.

West appeared to confirm the meeting in a tweet late Tuesday night, saying they discussed a book on empowering Black Americans, and he offered to do a live interview with the Times.

Representatives for West could also not be immediately reached.

A rapper and clothier, West announced his last-minute presidential campaign last month, followed by a series of rambling public remarks that have raised questions about his intentions and his mental health.

West has been open about his struggle with bi-polar disorder, and his wife, Kim Kardashian has asked the public and media to grant him compassion.

West’s appearance as an independent on the ballot could possibly disrupt the race between Trump, a Republican who is seeking re-election, and former Democratic Vice President Joe Biden if he were able to garner any votes in U.S. states where the contest is close.

The Washington Post last week reported that West’s campaign has so far filed petitions to appear on the presidential election ballot in 10 U.S. states and that Republican operatives, including some with ties to Trump, were involved in efforts to support his candidacy in at least five of them, including Arkansas, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Trump on Tuesday told syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt that he had not talked with West about the entertainer’s campaign. Representatives for Trump’s campaign could not be immediately reached but told the Post they were not involved.

West, 43, one of the biggest celebrity and most prominent Black supporters of the president, met with Trump during the 2016 presidential race and again in 2018 at the White House wearing a red “Make America Great” cap. Last month, he told Forbes that he was “taking the red hat off.”

Trump told Fox News last month that West “can’t” drop his support, adding: “He’s always going to be for us.”

We know what we can expect from Trump...Biden gives some hope. Dems need to keep Congress and get the majority in Senate.

Gotta have hope...I hoped Trump would try for the middle to make as many people happy as he could, he could have avoided looking like a colossal failure.
