Never that interested in porn. Saw one film in college. I was an RA in an all male dorm and residence hall staff decided on a film night to rent a porn film for the staff..After the first film, I asked the guys in the lounge if they wanted to watch First Blood or something like that or a porn movie. Voted for porn...turned it on and about 1/3 way in the room had almost cleared out. A girl came strolling in, could not believe what we were watching and ran out. I shut it down....left and went to a girl’s room that I never had any interest in out of the blue and tried to talk my way into some p*ssy. That was it for me. If I can’t have it, I wasn’t interested in watching it. Been that way every since. I leave the porn to those that can’t have ...I’m good.

Not talking about way back when. Adolescence forward. 10 year old was just figuring it out. I remember someone found a deck of cards that had porn pictures on the cards. More of a curiosity than anything. I was 7 or 8 based on where we lived at the time.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC was some pretty good porn for an adolescent before there was a lot more competition.

That's a defense of Acosta & the agreement he made -- not of Epstein.
You still haven't documented that Epstein victimized any minors AFTER the agreement.
If he didn't, then Acosta succeeded in preventing him from re-offending, got jail time & put him on the sex offender's registry,
which was more than the FL Prosecutors accomplished. Acosta was the only one to get him on anything.
Your lying & slander is what's pathetic. I was defending Acosta, not Epstein.
The (D)'s & media went after Acosta to damage Trump & to divert attention from Clinton, Mitchell, Richardson, & the Lolita Express.
You're incapable of making an honest argument.

That's BS. Show me where I ever used the word "reformed", or defended his work release (which Acosta had nothing to do with).
Acosta was being flayed, as if he allowed Epstein back on the street to re-offend.
Until there's evidence that Epstein continued to have sex with females below the age of consent, it's a bum rap on Acosta.
Epstein may have legally continued his perversions, using young women above the age of consent.
Younger post-agreement victims may still come forward, but they had not yet when I was asking & I haven't heard of any since.
Were any of his accusers below the age of consent after the agreement was reached ? If so, they'll be on Acosta.

Yikes.
So if I follow your logic, you're saying that because we don't yet have proof that a serial pedophile was not 'reformed', i.e. no under age sex accusations post trial (yet), then all goody goody with Acosta's decision to give him a slap on the hand and let him out into the wild ???

The only legitimate issue is whether Epstein was actually caught re-offending?

Why the heck are you defending Acosta?
He made a bad decision, very likely under all sorts of pressure to do so (we really don't know what that pressure may have been).
Perhaps some day he'll tell us what that pressure was, or perhaps someone else will.
Time will tell.

He lost his job. The victims lost their day in court.
No comparison, right?

Acosta may well be a veritable pawn in all this sleaze, but he ain't an innocent bystander. He had a responsibility to do better.

But let's focus not on Acosta but rather on who put the arm on him and on others, who entered into a corrupt relationship with Epstein, whether over money or sex. Nail the sleaze balls, especially those with the arrogance of money, fame and power.

This is likely to be an equal opportunity sleaze-fest. Nail'em all.

More BS & distortion. I said that it should have been easier & quicker for the FL Prosecutors to put him away for statutory rape, rather than to make a complex interstate trafficking case. Did it ever occur to you that if the FL Prosecutors couldn't get any of the victims to press charges or testify, a Fed trafficking case might be even more challenging, & that at least Acosta got jail time & put him on the sex offenders registry, so he'd know he was under continued scrutiny. Do you consider statutory rape a garden variety crime -- what are the sentencing guidelines ?
Statutory rape in Florida carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a fine of $10,000 for first-time offenders. Stiffer penalties apply to habitual offenders and can include up to 40 years or life in prison.

His plea deal was way out of the ordinary. He spent little time actually in custody, he failed to report per his probation more than 30 times without consequence. Tell you what, call the local forensic psychiatrist or psychologist associated with your court and ask them about pedophiles and behaviors. Supreme Bench in Baltimore has a staff. Don’t know how the Chief Psychiatrist is anymore.
That's a lot of words to say you can't document if Epstein victimized any other minors AFTER he completed his sentence.
...maybe his national network news headliners George Steph or Katie Couric found out over dinner.
Hey Gary Hart,

What's YOUR defense for that dead dirtbag now?

Pathetic. MAGA
You're incapable of making an honest argument.
You implied several times that Epstein was reformed and didn't do anything while on work release or since so Acosta was right in his decision ....don't know if defending the dirt bag that defended the dirtbag does much. If I misunderstood, it could be do to a forked tongue.

MAGA
Read the Miami Herald. You also brushed off “trafficking”. You likened it to garden variety statutory rape...
MAGA
Stiffer penalties apply to habitual offenders and can include up to 40 years or life in prison.
ok, so you're now saying that the prosecutors, local and federal, fouled up because they never thought of bringing a statutory rape charge, wasted their energies considering trafficking?

Huh?

You do realize that more than one charge can be brought, lesser charges as well as greater charges?
Now they're stupid?

They let him off the whole kit and caboodle with a slap on the wrist.
Gee, wonder why?

100 victims and more coming.

None of these prosecutors should get off the proverbial hook. But as I said earlier about Acosta, and let me extend that to the state prosecutors, they may well be relative pawns in all this sleaze. They are not the big time scum, just those who rolled over.

But they had agency, they had a responsibility.

obtw -- Starr says he only consulted with the defense on whether or not there could be a Fed case, not on the merits of the case.

Stiffer penalties apply to habitual offenders and can include up to 40 years or life in prison.
ok, so you're now saying that the prosecutors, local and federal, fouled up because they never thought of bringing a statutory rape charge, wasted their energies considering trafficking?

Huh?

You do realize that more than one charge can be brought, lesser charges as well as greater charges?
Now they're stupid?

They let him off the whole kit and caboodle with a slap on the wrist.
Gee, wonder why?
We discussed this in detail when the story broke. Go back & read this thread.
The FL prosecutors were going to let him off with a misdemeanor soliciting charge.
I'm pointing out that Acosta accomplished more than the state or locals, with a much more complex case to make.
You think it was a slam dunk vs the Roy Black', Ken Starr & Dershowitz team ? Ask William Kennedy Smith's accuser ?
Yup, the rich and powerful are tough to nail down and put away.

100 victims, more coming.
...& to accurately judge Acosta, were any of the victims victimized after Epstein took the plea deal ?
obtw -- Starr says he only consulted with the defense on whether or not there could be a Fed case, not on the merits of the case.
Starr defends Acosta & disputes the "sweetheart deal " claim.
Yes

You are so dishonest. Based on the dates & ages in that Miami Herald article, both Kaitlyn & Priscilla Doe would have been above the age of consent in 2009 when they allegedly visited Epstein. Kaitlyn was 17 when she first met Epstein in 2006. Acosta's deal had nothing to do with his subsequent work release.
