I haven’t been following but it appears Weirman is also out, but his backup is making the most of the opportunity. 75%

It’s not helping though. Terps down.

Terps look like they’re sleepwalking. And it doesn’t help McNaney isn’t seeing the ball well.

All McNaney had to do was clear it. Instead just chucks it at the goal

Weird to see a Tillman team look not well-coached. McNaney's shot was just dumb, then the last 20 second play that did nothing was laughable.

Ballgame 14-13 Terps. Maltz cans it in overtime. Man Brown was tough.

I wasn’t watching. Can you tell us what happened here with McNaney, who also had a braindead toss against Notre Dame.

You take the win. Still +1 from last year. The vibes are very, very weird with this team right now. McNaney hasn't played that poorly in two straight weeks since he was a freshman. Wierman dressing but not playing. Seeing this team go two straight weeks being dominated in the specialty areas is not something I'd ever have expected this year. 3 OT wins in 5 games is living very, very dangerously. Maybe it's just a wall they're hitting right now and they can break through it. The offense played it's second best game of the year today, but of course it should have, because Brown is a bad team. There were things you can take from it though; Malever operating from behind X heavily to start the game with Erksa up top was an adjustment we haven't seen and both guys played well and looked confident. Hopefully it carries over to UVA.

Gotta get better. Obviously need some clarity on what's up with Wierman. Can't imagine they don't get up for UVA though. That'll be a fascinating game (for both teams.) Onward.

Brown went into the 10 man and he lolly gagged a shot on the cage which the Brown defender easily came over and picked off. Brown got it back and tied it up on next possession

McNaney just has main character syndrome as a goalie. He's like Josh Allen. He's done this stuff for his entire career. Lately it's biting him in the ass.

Bro just tried to play hero ball instead of make the safe and easy play to close out an already disastrous game. Just made zero sense. Out of character and wouldn’t expect that from a senior. Just close the game out

The stats were correct but had the team logos wrong. The Maryland logo was Brown's stats and Brown logo were Maryland's.

You’ve got Ruppel on the bench there. Wonder if Tillman is thinking about this. McNaney’s bizarre non-clear/own goal against ND last week was interesting to say the least.

Credit to Keethler. He was great when it mattered, plus a great ground ball from Larkin.

Starting to look like this offense will be the 2nd best on the field for the remainder of the season. Can't play 4 on 6 for 40% of the game. The biggest win today was #1 getting back in the game.

Keno: is the Terps stadium dog friendly? I’m hopefully coming to next week’s game and want to bring the dog with us. Anyone?

There's 6 games left.

There's 3 games where at the moment they absolutely have the worse offense (Virginia, Hopkins, Penn State.) Two where I'd say they have the better one (Rutgers, Ohio State.) One unclear (Michigan.) With Wierman back and McNaney locked back in, they're favored in 4/6 games I'd say. Without, it might still be the same, but they probably look a lot more like this one and the games their underdogs in probably aren't ones they have chances of pulling upsets in. But it's still March 9th. Erksa had a big game. Malever's getting better. We'll see where they're at in a month. They were a Top 20-30 offense in the first month. Sort of similar so far in March, but two more big games next two weeks to learn more

I had heard about the camera angle/height at (is it still called?) Byrd Stadium, but I got used to it. The production, however: gotta think the production team in the sport's epicenter would know to show faceoffs instead of keeping focus on goalies standing around watching the upfield action! Got better 2nd half.
Anywhoo... congrats on the win!
