While they have tremendous facilities (I lived in Portland for 10+ years), the lacrosse isn't super appreciated...My read....

Used to be they would take any East Coast hotbed girls, but they also had alot of turnover based on being so far away from home. Again, my opinion, not necessarily fact checked.

The same thing has been happening at USC lately. It may seem like a good idea to go across the country to play lacrosse on the west coast but the logistics of parents being able to come to games, being so far away from home and where other friends are playing, etc can where kids and families down.
