agreed - the "covid year/5th year" has given a lot of players like the last three listed an opportunity to go somewhere and be a starter where previously they had relatively limited playing time...and pick up a graduate degree. forgive me but who said any of them will start? Paige petty obviously will get the start at Pitt. But some of these girls i would think are just getting a spot on a team at a school that has their program

I’m sure some of the transfers that didn’t get playing time. 5th year or not. Are just hoping for an opportunity to see the field at all. Starting would be a bonus. Hear BC is getting a 5th year transfer from Temple. Believe it is a defender.

Correct - could be great addition for BC. Believe she was invited to USA tryout and was honorable mention AA. Might fit well with young core defense at BC.

Courtney would be a great addition to a young and talented defense. Her experience can only help, and she’s a proven commodity.
BC never has an issue getting top flight offensive players, often times the talent is tougher to gauge on defenders.

Actually it is attack that is getting crowded. Aldave played attack last year at ND and that is her best shot at playing time. You have at least 8 players competing for playing times - 4 key returners, 2 transfers, Scanone, red-shirt freshman last year etc.

Aldave is a midfielder. Only played attack out of precaution for the hyperextended leg injury she nursed all season. ND missed her defense.
