one of the best moments for zinn in awhile and why he was rated so highly and continues to see the field. absolutely blew up 3 penn state guys.

Zinn is gonna be a solid SSDM if 06 doesn't bench him

Grimes goal called off for crease

The freshman are very active and involved

Terrific goalie play from Marcille.

Solid, aggressive defense.

Narewski winning face offs.

Offense clicking with both the veterans and young guys contributing. Epstein with a goal and two assists.

Blue Jays need to keep up the smart but aggressive play.

Best half of the season. Confident and composed. Marcile playing very well. Narewski holding his own. Thirty more good minutes!

-No one is getting elected to a hall of fame or a jersey retired, but that was as complete a half as we've seen.
other things
-about every few plays our guys are knocking penn state folks to the turf. From watching you'd be confused as to which program was the d1 football school located in the heart of one of the richest student athlete hotbeds in the nation and which is the d3 school that touts its us news ranking.
-lot of sticks knocking down balls. Familiarity with seeing a team for the 3rd time perhaps.
-hope the amherst kid is training already, marcille going to be hard to replace if he continues this
-penn state 3 man up goals, 1 6v6.

Way to get the goal right back. Zinn has found his niche.

I can't believe it took two different coaches and like 16 games before they went "hm...maybe we should give Marcille a shot." Kid must be the worst practice player of all time. He has been LIGHTS OUT today.

Found our goalie. :!:

Offense is finding its stride :!:

Penn State #47 is still looking for the truck that ran him over.

Looking like men against boys out there today. Confidence is a funny thing; looks like they took the right lesson from the MD game last week. Excited to see this group take their shot at Rutgers next week.

Hopkins CRUSHES Penn State

First, best wishes to the great Mac O’Keefe, as this was likely his last college game.

Wow, Tim Marcille. :o

Defense was aggressive with great slides all day.

Absolutely confident and solid on clears.

Blue Jays won their share of 50-50 groundballs.

Offense was amazingly efficient today.

Showed last week’s game against Maryland wasn’t a fluke.

Blue Jays earned a hard-won extension of their season.

Ladies and gentlemen ... the Peter Milliman era has just arrived.

Check the stat books. When was the last time Hopkins was 100% on clears and 67% save percentage in goal?

I'm sorry. I missed Darby's 0 for 1.

Agree with everything except GBs...thought we were not very good off the ground today, especially on the wings. But pretty much everything else was so good that it didn't matter. Certainly need to be better in that department on Thursday.

Terrific games from Cole, DeSo, Degnon, McDermott, Martin, and, yes, one Mr. Evan Zinn. He was great in traffic and in transition today. Coming into his own as a two-way middie.

The MVP of course Marcille. Best performance by a Hopkins goalie in quite a long time. No matter what happens for the rest of the year I think there's some reason to be optimistic about that position for next year and beyond.

Forgot what it was like to win. Feels good. We're onto Rutgers.

Congratulations on a game in which the BJs extended the lead late rather than faded late. They go into the Rutgers game with positive momentum having played well against Maryland and dominating Penn State.
Those of us with long memories may recall that before this season started, Penn State was regarded as being in the same league as Maryland and the ACC.
