I thought there would be a good volume of transfers given the transfer portal and additional year because of covid, but had no idea it would be this many. There are a lot more that I'm hearing about from my D, not necessarily big names and no announcements, but nice players taking a 5th year elsewhere. Maybe someone can create a tracker or something??

Andie Aldave is headed to Maryland. Moonwater wrote it over three hours ago and AreaLax noted Aldave's absence on the ND roster which is convincing. If I end up with egg on my face, it won't the first or last time.



Looks like Cathy Reese and the Terps are trying to do exactly what Belichick and the Patriots are doing. Trying to buy/build a title through free agency, only it's called the portal in women's college lacrosse. I don't think it will work for either team next year.

So far that's Aurora Cordingley from JHU; Natalie Pansini from Princeton; Andie Aldave from Notre Dame; midfielder Shannon Smith formerly of Carolina; defender Clancy Rheude formerly of Albany; defender Abby Bosco formerly of Penn--all with Maryland now. Aldave probably going somewhere else, but until the actual egg hits...

Not worried. If they win it, they win it. But I doubt it. A few good players left Maryland over the past two years as well. I don't think Reese can put together a national championship winning team in one year, but I also didn't think BC had a shot at the national title last season either.
