Good. If what we have read in articles is the full story, the punishment did not fit the crime. Give him a warning, tell him not to do it again, and move on. It wasn't a big deal.
Agreed...NC$$ really needs to pick it's battles better.

Glad he is able to play. It will certainly never happen to him again nor any other smart kids and coaches that are paying close attention.

Looking like the NCAA is defending their position and saying the Albany staff may have over reacted???

A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

The NCAA may not have been at fault this time, but you really cannot blame fans for thinking the worst as over the years the NCAA has abused more student athletes than Jerry Sandusky could ever dream of.

As for Nanticoke’s status next week, Marr said: “We’ll see. We’ll see how the week goes.”

“We’re finding the right chemistry with this team. The chemistry we played with last week against Cornell was the same chemistry we played with today. At some point, there are plenty of guys on the bench working their way to play also,” Marr said. “It was a personnel decision made by me, and we just need to keep moving forward. At some point, if he earns his way into the lineup that way, we’ll play him.”

Is this an attitude issue??

What a distraction. Growing every time he doesn't play and the coach won't address the actual issue: https://www.timesunion.com/sports/artic ... 676317.php

Even though it's been a highly disappointing season for SUNY-Albany, they have now officially clinched a berth into the 2019 America East Tournament. They can even still host it if the results over these last two weeks work out just right for them.

A real mess in the America East this year.
After a several year stretch of top play, the Thompsons, Fields, Rooney, the Catamounts last year.
Binghamton finally gets a win.

So, maybe an opening for Stony Brook, they’ve been the most consistent.
Or the Danes, maybe they go on a mini run.

I admire Coach Marr. He seems to make decisions that are about more than just wins and losses.

This Albany team will go down as one of the biggest head scratchers of 2019. 5-9 final record. Yikes.

Tough year for sure. i don't think they ever rebounded from TD leaving and then with the injuries and Tehoka missing the fall. It just never came together.
