UMD is Big Ten. We have the money to do whatever they want. Unc and BC are locked into the low rent ACC. They won’t ever catch UMD in nattys … end of story.
Maybe time to live in the present? Not exactly sure how so many championships from '86-'01 are relevant for present day recruits.

He spends lengthy periods of time incarcerated, you kind of lose touch with what's going on in the world when you're in the hole.
Best to ignore the troll who lives in the hole most of the time, he's got nothing of value to offer.

The Acc competition would drop to their knees beg to be in the Big Ten. They aren’t valuable enough to be invited because they would cause member schools to make less money.

15 nattys include 2010, 2014,2015, 2017,2019
2020 no season
Final 8 2021 #1 recruiting class
Final 4 2022 #1 recruiting class

UMD was invited…to the Big Ten…From the ACC…

And from my understanding it was football related. ACC is more of a basketball conference. Not that it did them any favors

You just showed my exact point... 2 relevant Nattys ('17, '19) the rest irrelevant to present day HS players. What the heck cares if you are 16-17 yrs old if Md won in '86-2010! Not sure what your point is with recruiting classes. Who cares? ACC lax drop to knees to be in Big 10?? Hilarious.

The Acc schools are stuck because tv market is split by Uva/VT and Unc/ NC state in Virginia and NC. Clemson is killed by USC being in SEC and South Carolina being a tiny market. The only viable entity in the Acc is FSU.

You left out 2014 and 2015 after 2010. Weird.

The point is UMD has the last 2 number 1 recruiting classes since recruits find UMD the most relevant lacrosse school.

Yes every school in ACC lax would drop to its knees to be in the B1G.

Why would they do that? Because in the Big10, their competition would be substandard to what they’re used to in the ACC?

Btw - Cameron Indoor is an actual BASKETBALL court, Fenway is an actual BASEBALL field, Lambeau is an actual FOOTBALL field. Maryland plays lax on an actual…FIELD HOCKEY field.

Can’t take it. The lacrosse royalty from the lacrosse state will never be matched in championships because they play in the iconic “old bay” field of champions in the woods.

Big Ten 22 womans lax natty

Acc 4

Ouch plus the Acc schools would drop to their knees to be in the B1G and ditch their loser conference at light speed.

7 of those titles were when MD played in the ACC and another 4 were from when they were independent. All 7 of NU’s titles happened when they were in the ALC. You’re going to hurt yourself reaching like that

Well on MD's end, the athletic department was broke. The Big 10 wanted the DC TV market. Maryland fits the Big 10 model of mostly state universities, but definitely doesn't have that hunky-dory Midwestern school spirit that I feel like embodies the conference.

UMD is a moneymaker for the B1G

Most B1G schools aren’t and none of the ACC schools would be.

That’s why UMD is so great.

MD might fit the model, as you say, but they will never be seen as legit within the great conference that is the Big Ten. Even Penn State, after all these years, is still seen as an outsider. Maryland (and Rutgers) will be outsiders forever. It's a travesty that you brag up MD by invoking the Big Ten.
