Anyone who doesn’t believe that Mullin was the best transfer goalie available, never saw him play. Kyle was an absolute beast in net for Harvard. A big plus for Rutgers.
I'm a fan of Mullin, saw him play numerous times, but no, he wasn't the top prospect. But Rutgers fans should be glad to have him, very steady, quiet hands and big presence. Lots of proven experience. 50-51% career. Yes, a big plus...whether he gets the nod as the starter or simply mentors the freshman.

Frankly, I'm surprised that Kyle chose Rutgers for grad school. Would have thought there'd be other options.
Anyone know what he's going to be studying? He was a Government major at Harvard.

There were other options. He chose, like other Ivy grads, to come to RU.

Simmer down on the academic talk, you're a Maryland fan.

He's just from Maryland. He played for Dartmouth and his son played for Harvard.

So simmer down yourself, or I'll send the Big Red back onto the field!

come on, he's coming to grad school. I was wondering what school, field of study.
Rutgers is not a typical jump, but that doesn't mean there's not a great opportunity academically to be found.

No need to be so defensive.

Are you not following the grad transfer market? It's very typical. Rutgers has had many. Including now 4 from the Ivy (real ones) League.

I must not be following closely enough. I read this forum's thread on such...I know about Neuman, FOGO from Yale, but only also knew about Mullin...who else from Ivies coming as grad students?

Have there been many such in past years?

If who you are thinking of is who is being kicked around the R lacrosse circle, he would be a great addition back into the fold.

Scott playing for Canada's under 21 team looks like their number 1 option. Between him and Shane Knobloch playing for the US, RU is well represented. There may be a few more adds too.

Number 12 for Australia, Mitchell Baker, has announced he is transferring to Rutgers. I would think he will get a real long look at the open third attack spot. The staff is really high rising soph. Dante Kulas too, who scored a monster goal against UPenn. Baker looks like he could play out of the midfield too.

Good options to have.
