This is literally heartbreaking given how much these athletes sacrifice every day to try and get on the field. Not sure if anyone is following the story of Fordham women's basketball - but give it a google search if interested... sorry for the non wlax reference.

Loyola-Syracuse -- Hounds by 6

Strong call. Been a long time since these girls have played together with any regularity and even longer since they've played a real game. Be interesting to see how they come out, which team is able to work smoothly as a unit, how much rust there is, if any. Two mighty potent teams with awfully good players, both have thirty minutes to see how it's all going, then thirty to put it all together. Methinks the second half is going to be pretty intense, don't know how you make a call on this one. Noon game, gotta love that, don't have to wait long after reveille and the game's on.
