Welp; looks like this is gonna be a thing. If it does happen, some names with Maryland or Tillman connections who are OCs and have good reps: Mike Phipps, Mike Chanenchuk, John Haus, and Jake Bernhardt
Man this would really surprise me too. I’d put Phipps quite a bit ahead of those other 3 you mentioned. Older and more experienced, but yes the Terps have a lot of alums in the ranks. You wonder if Tills could look outside the alum network as well, considering Jesse is already on staff.

I’ll believe this when I see it however.
Phipps would easily be my 1st choice; I think he’s one of the premier offensive coaches in the country. He’s already at a Top 10 team though, so he’d be harder to pull away. But his wife was on the women’s staff and went to UMD, his brother’s wife is an assistant with the women’s team. Lot of connections obviously
I am high on Chanenchuk, he helped coach some elite players at Sacred Heart in Tuttle and Saggese and had a great offense there in 2019 and his offense at Stony Brook was up 3 GPG before the cancellation.

Gimme Haus.
Yes, Ament made that offense really go, but it was still pretty good when Ament was hurt.

Plus, it would hurt PSU.
Hurting PSU definitely would be the selling point there. Although from my understanding it is Tambroni’s offense and he still was pretty much the OC. But wouldn’t hurt to get his ideas on how it worked that’s for sure.

It’s definitely Tambroni’s offense. I don’t know how much input Haus really has. Now granted what matters most is the talent and Maryland has tons of talent to work with, but I think of all the options he’s the least “proven” (doesn’t mean he can’t be successful.)

Looks like they are rolling out the rosters for the UA Underclass tournament. The South teams announced. Part of the Highlight class is Maryland commit Trace Davidson midfielder from Tampa FL.
According to Twitter, VMI hired someone else. Looks like Cosch Reppert may have come to his senses

Good news. Do think the Terps would have hired a good coach and the talent is what makes it click most, but Rep's been one of, if not the best assistant in the country the last 5 years and if there is a season in 2021, will definitely help to have the continuity with so much uncertainty
Real ? How many players actually use the official equipment providers use the official providers sticks, gloves, etc ?? We ddidn't have that in my day... yeah, I'm ancient.

You wear the equipment and use the sticks they give you. It's part of the deal when playing for programs that receive sponsorship. Every MD player wore all UA gear. I can't account for everyone's stick, but I can't recall not seeing a UA stick on a Terp sideline.

Article on incoming freshman Gabe Goforth from back on April 27th:

Tyler Rockhall now listed on the football team roster
Looks like he’s being smart .... if fall football gets moved to spring, which seems to be the intent in other leagues, it will certainly be played. It’s a money maker and has more certainty. Lacrosse not so much.

According to Ty Xanders:
"IL’s No. 7 Chase Mullins ‘21, F/O, St. Christopher’s (Va.) / @DCExpressLax has committed to @UNCMensLacrosse. A former Maryland verbal, Mullins went back on the market earlier this month"
Tough loss for the Terps, that kid is a game changer

Tillman has quite a bit of time to find a replacement.

Calderone has four more years which does provide more time as Tillman always seems to find what he needs.
