In her opening she details her families story. Two immigrant parents of color instill in her the promise of America. The values that allow her to rise through layers of power and talent to where she was accepting the role as democrat candidate for Vice President of the United States.

Bravo America and Kamala.

IN THE SAME SPEECH she details the systemic racism and white privilege that makes it impossible for people of color to do what she just told us she was able to do.

Just like Oprah and Michelle Obama. Two of the most influential powerful and wealthiest women in the country.

Telling us all how "Ya just can't get ahead in America if your skin is brown or black."

What the heck.
She did not say "impossible" 6ft...are you sure you listened with an open mind?

Or do you think it should be harder for those with black or brown skin to 'get ahead"???
Where did I suggest it should be harder? You gotta put racist words in my mouth so you can call me racist.
You are misquoting Harris and you called her an "unexpurgated phony" (interesting phrase, yours?).

She did not say "impossible", so I'm asking whether you disagree with her point that it should not be harder for those with black and brown skin to get ahead...you are free to agree with her or disagree, I merely asked for clarification.

Great ad, a real eye-catcher and of course Trump and Trumpists love it.

Does she have any actual proposed solutions?
I've been looking but so far I'm not seeing them from her.

I like the challenge, but where's the beef?

And does she even live in the district she's running in?
yeah, that doesn't seem to matter anymore...

Did I get you mixed up with Petey on the latter? ahhh, yes, just found his post...that was him.

She has to "fix Baltimore", without using Big Government solutions. In other words, without more State and Federal money, and without massive tax breaks.

I'm all ears, but my money is on more tax breaks.

Omarosa, Diamond & Silk and Black Man for Trump are gone, she will fill the void. Is Pastor Mark still on the team?

Yep:
Create Working Class and White Collar Jobs through The Port of Baltimore

Maximizing the potential of the Port of Baltimore, the second-busiest port in the country, and the I-270 Biotech corridor is my top priority.

Maryland has a robust biotech industry already, and the multibillion dollar medical supply chain in the US is ready to be developed – let’s do it in Baltimore! With a strong focus on workforce development for city residents and including West Baltimore as an Opportunity Zone, city and county residents will be able to benefit from a revitalization of the city of Baltimore.

Shocker. So the game here is: Tax breaks for 1%ers, and the rest of the small Businesses have to pay the 1%ers taxes for them. The 1%ers use Pete Brown math, and say "they make it up somewhere else"....ignoring the question "if that's true, why the F are you taxing other small businesses?"

Not only aren't the smart enough to ask that question....they wouldn't care about the answer if you gave it to them.

And then services are cut because they don't have enough money for schools and police, and the lot.

And Republicans and Corporate Dems feign surprise at this lack of money, and gee whiz, can't square why the regular citizens and small business owners taxes keep going up.

Rinse. Repeat. In every State in our Union, regardless of who is in power.

Only politician I can think of who is on to this game? AOC. Although to be fair, she's only called Amazon out for this game...she might not get the larger problem.

For what it’s worth, I’d support your initiatives even though I really don’t know them. The existing Democratic policies sure aren’t working.

Without question. Everyone here is in agreement with that point.

The problem, obviously, is that Republicans aren't arriving with solutions. All they do is say "Dems bad".
