Outside of the stupid "defund the police" hyperbole? (This is politics, after all, so I'm fine with that).
Outstanding!! "Get rid of lifelong pensions" is in her twitter signature. (guess what that does? It defunds the police....so she is actually fine doing that)
If I'm in Baltimore, I'd be eager to hear the rest of her ideas. VERY eager. THIS is what I've been talking about, Republicans....new ideas. Get in there and lead...stop whining about "Dems bad", and people will follow.
Re: Race in America - Riots Explode in Minneapolis
He knows who these people are that come out later at night. Agent Provocateurs & anarchists in all likelihood. It’s consistent with what I have heard. I like the 3rd world country analogy.....

Here, for example, is the sum-total of what she has to say on health care:
Any individual, including self-employed individuals, would be allowed to form associations for the purpose of purchasing group health insurance. As proposed by Senator Rand Paul. This allows small businesses that don’t offer insurance and individuals who are uninsured for some other reason negotiating power enjoyed by large employers when negotiating rates. As a private sector solution it would be affordable enough that even in the event of sudden job loss, individuals would be able to maintain their private insurance coverage.
Brilliant!!! People without employer-provided health insurance should "form associations"! Then they will magically have the "negotiating power enjoyed by large employers"!
Do I have to explain the flaws here?
As vacuous as it is, it's not even her idea. According to her ungrammatical sentence fragment, it comes from that very stable libertarian genius Rand Paul.
So why aren't people out there already forming these wonderful associations???
You do the math.

Democrats continue to riot unimpeded in Portland last night.
Antifa smash out windows of the Multnomah Building in Portland tonight and throw lit materials inside to set the ground floor on fire. They did this to multiple other buildings over the course of their 80+ days of terror in the city

General goon and youtube moron Joey Salads actually had an interesting piece on what he saw at a lot of protests:
3 types of people: Peaceful protestors, troublemakers and opportunists.
Is that surprising?....and I am pretty certain the criminal opportunists and many of the trouble makers aren’t voting and don’t belong to a political party.

Not surprising, but helps confirm the suspicions that many here had that there are plenty of bad actors and opportunists out there. Perhaps far more than we thought.

And fewer police in reply... perfect...

You mean more police pouting because citizens don’t want them to be above the law.

It's made infinitely more difficult to discuss police reforms when there is chaos and rioting occurring in your streets.

Yep. It's almost as if the people rioting don't want police reforms.
Catching on yet, Pete?

yet so much progress was being made pre-"rioting"...
I do agree, of course, that the violence and destruction is counterproductive to actual protests and reform.
Most reform is frozen for now.
This next national election is pivotal to actual reforms being made, not more lip service (from either party) and insults from white supremacists and their Trumpist enablers.
Will the reforms actually happen?
Not if Trump remains in office, that's for certain.
Probably not if the GOP holds the Senate, though possible if Trumpism otherwise loses ignominiously.
Remains to be seen whether this will be sufficiently on the agenda, but I'm betting progress will actually be made.

Here's another thing I think we can agree on.
If Trump wins, I think there will be weeks of serious rioting all across America, especially in Democratic run cities like NYC, Chicago, Portland, Seattle. It will be very ugly. I also think Trump will launch serious counter efforts to crush it and it will be crushed, you can have no doubt about that. he's held off now, because what better advertisement for him than to see the guy kicked in the head last night in Portland by a BLM guy.
I'd be interested if you believe the rioting would say more about the rioters or more about Trump?

If Trump "wins", I'll be with the protestors just like in Belarus and Hong Kong.
I'll head to DC for those protests.

And if Biden wins, Trump people will riot. I assume Trump is smart enough to know that if he has any involvement in that, he will go to jail.
