I played box lacrosse one summer for a local "semi-pro" team. We had a DJ for our games and could request certain songs be played during the pregame warm ups. I requested EPMD's "Crossover", which I would've requested as the song to play after I score a goal, if the DJ had done that. It would've only played 4 times all season if that was the case, because I played defense, and am not much of a goal scorer. I figured it would've been a clever, self-deprecating choice considering I grew up playing field lacrosse and had played very little box lacrosse until that time, so a "crossover" in other words. Of course, the song doesn't speak of crossovers kindly, and that's the self-deprecating part.
Going to listen to it!!ohmilax34 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 30, 2021 1:25 pmI played box lacrosse one summer for a local "semi-pro" team.
