Just to be clear.. neither did I. My boys introduced me to the game. When I thought I would be playing catch with them with a hardball they taught me how to throw and catch with a short stick. It took me awhile but I got pretty damn good. I took a few missed passes in the face though. As my oldest son told me...OUCH and yes it left mark.

Btw, who cares who has any connection to lacrosse? I don’t. I assume most Internet warriors will exaggerate their skill level not to mention their kids. Newsflash: no one makes real money playing this game. Same with shuffleboard. (I’d add pickleball but some of those boys are actually making bank, unlike lacrosse).
The weird thing is everyone who plays those games think they’re the second coming of Gale Sayers.

Actually the term genocide wasn't defined/invented until after World War II ended. Nevertheless, the situation with the Ottomans and Armenians was a massacre on a scale that would subsequently certainly qualify as what was to become known as a genocide.

Everybody recognizes them, I doubt they are ever a topic of conversation that Biden will have with Xi or Putin. I may have missed it but what Chicom leader or Russian/ Soviet leader has publically acknowledged the genocide committed in their own country?

I knew about when I was in HS. It was not widely taught but it was part of the curriculum of world history. If we go back in time genocide being committed by many different nation's was a a fairly common occurrence.

I didn’t play football either but sort of feel I have a ‘connection’ to the game.
As to lax, I cheer the hounds and Terps. I might even know people who know the coaches. Is that allowable to you, MD?

I LOVE the game...I watch a game every Saturday on television if I’m not on the water. Watched Maryland Hopkins this weekend, start to finish.
It was more a comment on people who post online who tell others how great they were when they played...this odious condition is not restricted to lacrosse.
