The stock market has already lost about $4 trillion, and it looks like it will lose more. Dow futures are down about 1,200 points. That would wipe out all gains from the past two years.

This relatively recent post is already out of date. Now 544 confirmed cases. That’s 107 new confirmed cases just today, and the day is not done.

How many of you have the sense that we’re on a runaway train with no engineer in the locomotive?

DocBarrister :?
Less than 3 hours, and you can add another 10 confirmed cases. Now up to 554 in the U.S.

Trump said our response was as perfect as his phone call to Ukraine. Oil prices dropped a third overnight as Trump’s buddies the Saudis and Russians continue their price war. Gonna be rough on Wall Street today. Buy the dips!

Scarsdale NY schools in Westchester County will be closed until March 18. Keio School (a Japanese-funded private boarding school) closed for the remainder of the year and cancelled all spring sports including lacrosse.

Get ready for disruptions in the HS spring lacrosse schedule

Have I missed it, or has any GOP senator spoken up about:

1) Need for calmly urgent measures on virus? (Not counting Cruz self-quarantine.)

2) Preparation for layoffs / ec shocks ahead? (Not counting Kudlow “buy on the dip!”)

Not aware of any…

A D.C. priest has Coronavirus. He offered communion and shook hands with more than 500 worshippers last week and on February 24th. All worshippers who visited the Christ Church in Georgetown must self-quarantine. Church is cancelled for the first time since the 1800's.
