Everyone else in the country has learned to never slide off O'Keefe. But not us.

Nice response after going down 2-0.

Need to win some faceoffs.

Penn State's SSDMs are there for the taking. Keep going to it.

Oh, and please get at least a few of the GBs!

Best 15 minutes they've played this year, minus faceoff struggles.

Do it again three more times.

Good 1Q. Observations:

- I'm not sure we played that well (except in the half-field offense), but we're up by 2.
- Close D is playing at a high level
- Getting a couple of FOs was key
- Most noticeable change in the defense from previous years is the tendency to slide-and-double rather than slide-and-recover. And its working.

Martin getting a few runs at SSDM. Has already helped on a few clears.

Just saw Peshko out there for a middie run.

Yeah, that was a Zinn/ Peshko/ Raposo M line.

Zinn looks really lost

Reinson's hands are so good. Picking off passes left and right.

DeSo is a totally different player.

Great half. Observations:

- D is absolutely locked in. Guys defending well 1-on-1 and doubles/ slides/ recoveries look tight.
- Narewski
- Deso making it look easy
- We are creating good looks on O despite our lack of long-range shooting
- LSMs are an underappreciated strength of this team
- PSU offense without Ament is unrecognizable
- O'Keefe isn't scoring many goals, but he's an incredibly smart player

Best half of the season so far.

Excellent work on faceoffs in the second quarter.

Terrific on-ball D with quick slides.

Good ball movement on O and some aggressive dodges from behind the net by DeSimone.

Even an aggressive ride at times.

Plus, good on clears and keeping the rock.

The pieces are really coming together. Now, if they can just keep this up a full 60 minutes.
