A political investigation in search of a crime :

https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house ... ing-to-end

Questions & contacts worthy of attention in the Horowitz, Huber & Barr inquiries & investigations :
(lots of former FBI assets involved, ...not to mention Azra Turk & Josef Mifsud).

The report totally exonerates Trump both he and Barr have claimed but they don’t want it released.

Investigations require staff to investigate. Both DOJ and FBI. If there were no crimes there won’t be any evidence of crimes but there is no question there was obstruction of justice by the President. He has continued to do it since the report was released.

At this point anyone not Brie omg he has committed crimes and trying to prevent additional evidence of wring doing is either an ideologue, uninformed , has a personal stake in doing so or no longer supports the Constituionn

So you and the Federalist author are complaining about a political investigation in search of a crime.

And in response to this, you are calling for a political investigation in search of a crime.

Nice try. You can't spin this one away.

The crime is established. Domestic surveillance of the political opposition using a politically funded set of unverifiable lies as a basis for the FISA warrants. High ranking members of the intelligence community shouted loudly for over two years that they had evidence that the newly elected President was a Russian agent. The Mueller Report (more opposition research paid for by the American taxpayer) says those intelligence officers LIED.

Yeh that's what it says. Aside from the unproven undefended allegations that should have never appeared in the report.

Any indictments after 2800 subpoenas and two+ years investigation. Nope! Keep hoping though cause thats all you got. Maybe Nadler and Schiff are smarter than Mueller and his 19 prosecutors.

I guarantee I've read more of it than congressional democrats.

When Obama sent his campaign staff and millions of dollars to Israel to interfere in the election to overthrow Netanhyahu

By who? Hannity? There are zero indictments, let alone convictions. Nothing has been established other than you're wearing a tin foil hat, and these people have been mean to Trump, and that's illegal in your mind. So you think the way things work in America is: start with presumed guilt. Nope. Sorry.
6ftstick wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 6:59 am Domestic surveillance of the political opposition using a politically funded set of unverifiable lies as a basis for the FISA warrants.
You mean the FBI did their jobs, pulled warrants, investigated, and found nothing indictable on Trump's people?

Wow. What a conspiracy. Clearly jail is warranted.
6ftstick wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 6:59 am The Mueller Report (more opposition research paid for by the American taxpayer) says those intelligence officers LIED.
So both the FBI agents and Mueller are "in on it", and both cleared Trump of indictable offenses. Wait: what?

Do you even bother to think about what you're writing?

This is your illegal conspiracy? Federal officials clearing Trump?

Yeah, ok.

As you describe it, sure sounds out of bounds to me.

But let's take a closer look.
Was the effort denied by Obama? Did the candidate being supported (openly) deny that such support existed?
Were fake identities and bots used on social media to sow discord and to support Netanyahu's opponent, and that was denied?
Did the Obama folks hack the Netanyahu campaigns communications and disseminate the parts damaging to Netanyahu?
And deny they'd done so? and the candidate being supported ask for them to do it?

There's out of bounds and way, way out of bounds.

This is where we really do have different standards. I quite agree, no indictments of Trump for conspiracy.

But "collusion" is described in great detail in volume 1...have you read it? Nope.

"collusion", however, is not criminal conspiracy,, provable beyond a reasonable doubt.

Look, I thought HRC was dirty as all get out, pulled all sorts of baloney that smelled absolutely awful...but they didn't find it criminal beyond a reasonable doubt. Sure came close, just as the Trump stuff sure came close to being indictable.

And that's where the obstruction comes in.

“Fiat rege respondere”.While Trump is not yet a King,he has responded....there was no collusion.True,true. Bravo.

IMO,the advice he's getting is destructive and unfair.Trump should clear the air.He is certainly not as yet, exonerated. But I suggest he could pre-empt the AUSAs in the SDNY by responding, openly,to the many unanswered questions. No collusion...but were there any conspiracies?

At some point in time, those folks at 1 Saint Andrews Plaza are going to invite a slew of his people to come on up and proffer. As noted legal scholars like 72 inch kindling can attest,he/she that proffers first, almost always gets the best deal.Trump can take wind out of the ASUA's sails by stepping up...NOW!
