It means maryland is thorough and tillman is desperate. Ohio State has 8 different equipment staffers listed in their directory plus an athletics operations specialist attached to their lacrosse team and just opened that new facility. If THEY are missing details like this we probably are too.

Beat Wierman beat the terps.

;06 keeps an eye on most everything for us Blue Jay fans - SEC football, media coverage, NFL etc. etc. It was the lead pipe lock of the week he was going to glovegate. Given that we play Maryland in 2 weeks by far one of the more germaine topics he has pursued. I am never for one to give the opponent any bulletin board material or extra focus but at the same time it would be pretty hilarious to see Rutgers or Hopkins come out for warm-ups in completely mismatched uniforms - jerseys/shorts/helmets/gloves everything.

Ohio State was really good at getting inside and finishing last night and their goalie was impressive keeping them in it. They mentioned on the broadcast that ohio state struggles staying out of the box so man up can really help us next week if it's working.
Can any lax gurus explain to me the coach's thinking on the last shot of a tie game? Both underdogs yesterday had a chance to win at the end of the 4th. After a TO, they both held the ball near midfield to let the clock run down before running a play. By while they are basically playing catch outside the box, the close-in Defense is standing around getting a rest. Why not play catch and burn clock closer in to force teh defense to keep in motion to follow the ball, get someone out of position, and opening up for an inside shot? Instead both underdogs couldn't get off a good shot before the clock expired and lost the game in OT.

And on their next-to-last possession OSU called a time out in the middle of a possession to put their defensive middies on. Mind-boggling.

There were still 20 seconds left in the shot clock! Coming out of the timeout they elected to initiate from GLE with a d-mid. Insanity! Just totally conceded the end of the possession. Hope Myers brings whatever the hell that was to Homewood next weekend.

But first, Penn State. Two OT thrillers for the B1G yesterday...could see tonight being similar. Although it sure would be nice to win one of these games without having to sweat out the first three quarters.

Predictions for tonight? Another one-goal conference game, OT or not?

Saw this on the ND thread, but I would not want to tempt fate:

Hey, I got quoted in the Hopkins thread. Never forget that Maryland had to do that against a 5-5 OSU team that was blown out against PSU, ND, UVA.

Anything to bump our page count.

Seriously, when I am busy, this is the only thread I check, so I figure maybe other Hop fans would have missed your insight.

You would have to assume that this was not an oversight by the Duke staff. Have to imagine that those oonly traveled with their blue gloves. Hopefully none of the JHU players are in that predicament tonight.

Good start but oooof does Peshko need to finish that on the crease. That's when being so one handed gets ya. Easy goal if he can switch that to his left. Nice start nonetheless.
