If this part is true (from your link) THIS is a scandal. Land, emmy of domain, big budget buster for wall building. uh, uh, not this time.

The freeze had prevented the government from tapping approximately $2.5 billion in Defense Department money to replace existing sections of barrier in Arizona, California and New Mexico with more robust fencing.

Why scandal? Anyone know the actual mileage of existing sections that will be "replaced more robustly". ?? Remember, the article clearly said that they were replacing some sections of siding, but on only half the house, but really, not more than 300 lineal feet. 300 lineal feet at a million dollars per foot, is, well, you know, 300 million dollars. Where is the rest of the 2.1 billion go? exactly
