How does Kirst getting pushed into the crease end up with a 2 man up for DU? Cornell not getting any help at all from the referees in this game. I still don't know why DU got the 2 minute non-releasable man-up at the start of the 3rd quarter. And the no call on the late hit after the early Wirtheim goal was mystifying as well.

Kirst seems to have gotten a 2nd penalty for unsportsmanlike, both unreleaseable. DU scores 2.

Unfortunate set of penalties. I ended up getting the stream. Denver is very good. So far, Cornell looks strong and capable. The DU goalie has started to look much better.

I just rewatched the Kirst sequence. He was cross checked into the crease. He did absolutely nothing. And the result is 2 two minute unreleasable penalties vs Cornell. Cornell is getting somewhat screwed in this game. Cornell was up 4 with the ball at the time.

Little home cooking with the officiating I’d say.

What's with all the weak non-releasable penalty calls ?!

Obvious loose ball push by DU not called; they then score to tie at 15. Now DU up by 1. Tough to watch (but Denver is very good),

I'm starting to think that the refs aren't calling it even... there was a clear push before Denver's 15th goal... It looks like Cornell is going man down again.

Well played by the Big Red. Disappointing result, but Cornell looked good.

Between penalties and possibly 4th quarter altitude advantage Denver, too much to overcome.

This game was a travesty. Cornell had to play Denver and the refs.
