There is every possibility that Dowd knew the UVA job would be open ... and picked Brown. I doubt it. Loyola has been getting better each of the last 3-5 years. Certainly better than UVA at this point. The plusses would be ACC play and historic Blue blood program rep....a negative, starting over at a school where WLAX is just one of many non-Football, non-revenue sports....MLAX/WLAX at Loyola is Football to them. Big program/fish, small pond....

Last 2 years for the Hounds have been great. I think if they get over that Cuse hump in the regular season that gets them in the top 5. They were close the last 2 years. Plus Jen Adams has the full support of the entire athletic department as women’s lax is currently the best sports team at Loyola by far. I hope she turns this program around. A good Oregon team is good for West Coast Lacrosse.
