I have to hand it to this woman. She took her ideology and with some fortunate good timing has made herself a boatload full of moolah. Sounds like good old fashioned capitalism at work.

Absolutely!
Of course that does not preclude everyone mocking her at the same time. Her gig is remarkably similar to a carnival barker except not nearly as honest.

Can I get a citation of the publications of these "recent studies" please?

Just copy and past the text....which is a quote, google will find it.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

As I suspected, the studies do NOT say that diversity training doesn't work, but only that CERTAIN TYPES don't work.
https://hbr.org/2016/07/why-diversity-programs-failIn analyzing three decades’ worth of data from more than 800 U.S. firms and interviewing hundreds of line managers and executives at length, we’ve seen that companies get better results when they ease up on the control tactics. It’s more effective to engage managers in solving the problem, increase their on-the-job contact with female and minority workers, and promote social accountability—the desire to look fair-minded. That’s why interventions such as targeted college recruitment, mentoring programs, self-managed teams, and task forces have boosted diversity in businesses. Some of the most effective solutions aren’t even designed with diversity in mind.

When diversity training is done properly, it is a useful tool. If it is done in a half arse manner, it will be a disaster and cause more harm than good. If you tell a female co-worker "you look nice today" and you find yourself being written up for sexual harassment, then you know DT has gone a bridge too far.CU77 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 26, 2020 6:13 pm As I suspected, the studies do NOT say that diversity training doesn't work, but only that CERTAIN TYPES don't work.

The best diversity training you can ever engage in is called capitalism. You are forced to hire the best and brightest or your competition eats you alive.

Re: Progressive Ideology
It should come as no surprise to anyone with a functional brain that Biden's presumptive #1 pick now for VP, Karen Bass, has in her past said some very complimentary things about Fidel Castro, and now on the eve of being nominated by Biden, she's attempting to walk back the comments.
As a reminder about who Castro truly is, this might help:
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation ... 82148.html
“How many in jail since 1959? How many executed? How many lost at sea? I can’t even guess.”
The reason American Democrats adore Castro is because he ruled like they would if they could. Freedom means nothing to most Democrats. Power and coercion do.

Capitalism to the extent that it tenuously exists has only existed for maybe 100 years.
There are 18,000,000 millionaires in America. 8% of all millionaires in America are black. There are at least 6 black billionaires. That means that 1,400,000 black people in America are millionaires.
Could you tell the board which system is better for blacks? Do you prefer the agrarian economies of sub-Saharan Africa?

… capitalism has existed, fully formed since the 17th century - ie., about 1650. Its roots go back two hundred years before that. BLACKS WERE TRADED COMMODITIES UNDER CAPITALISM. Capitalism is not an American invention.

I'd like to explore two things first:
what should the maximum gross (federal, stae, and local) income tax rate be for any one human being, regardless of income?
do you think a political party that attracts grown men in pink tutus who scream incoherently at police is a party that we should respect?
Answer one or the other, but preferably both...I always prefer to know ahead of time the substance of anyone I debate.

Your non-answer is all I needed. Thanks.
(by the way for anyone playing at home, the quickest way to ascertain the true intelligence of anyone from the Left you care to debate, simply ask the one fundamental question I did above which cuts through all of the extraneous noise: 'what's the maximum gross income tax rate (federal, state, and local) that any one taxpayer should be forced to pay?' Their answer is revealing of all else they hold dear to their hearts and mind; as you decipher their answer, what they're actually saying is they'd be content to take ___% from you)
