As you’ve already pointed out…it’s the internet, and I’m not that thin-skinned. No apologies needed.The Orfling wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 11:30 amI didn’t mean to pick a fight initially but I realize I’m acting like a bit of a jerk. I can see how speculating if a certain player would want to transfer would be annoying and I will henceforth knock it off! NYTerp09, I apologize. And I am a big admirer of Tillman and the program he has built so did not mean to be seen as taking a shot at either.The Orfling wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 8:23 amCome on now testy Testudo. I’m sorry Malever may be leaving College Park — he seemed like he was much closer to his pre-injury self towards the end of the year during MD’s great run — but it does seem to show that anybody can transfer out in the age of the portal, even if they are doing great things at their current school. I was very clear that I was just musing and not passing on any sort of rumor. With respect to the rest of your rebuttal, the oldest brother didn’t see the field all that much at the new destination either, and it was foreseeable based on form that he would not, raising the question of why Notre Dame used up a transfer/roster slot. (Youngest brother had been committed to ND already. So it was not a flip situation.).NYterp09 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2024 6:56 amTake your make-a-wish requests elsewhereThe Orfling wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 8:00 pmCalm down, eh? it’s the internet.NYterp09 wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 9:33 amI don’t know why you are trying to will this into reality…Burlace will likely be the Terps top defender next year, he isn’t going anywhere. And Notre Dame can’t “make a play” unless the player enters the portal (he hasn’t), otherwise it is blatant tampering. BJ left because he wasn’t going to see the field at Maryland.The Orfling wrote: ↑Fri May 31, 2024 9:20 amI keep thinking Notre Dame, which had BJ Burlace as a reserve last year via transfer and has younger brother Gavin on the roster, might make a play for Colin Burlace. Just a hunch.rolldodge wrote: ↑Thu May 30, 2024 2:41 pm Ty Xanders
@tyxanders
@TerpsMLax
attackman Eric Malever has entered the portal as a grad transfer, per a source. Posting 15g/22a as a senior, the former Top 10 recruit racked up 105 points in three seasons in College Park, missing all of 2023 after putting up 48 points for the national champs in ‘22.

Nor do I want it to happen, I’m not a fan of Notre Dame vis a vis Maryland and not a giant fan of the free agent era of lacrosse. (while recognizing it’s here to stay). I am a proud Internet lacrosse rando and nothing I speculate will affect real world events.
Cheers.
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
Loyola's Davis Lindsey is transferring to D2 Tampa, per his Instagram. Taking him off the list. If they don't end up at a D1 school I'm not going to show the destination on the list. But mentioning the move here for those interested.

Richmond picking up SSDM Ethan Gyllenhaal would be a Grad student. Previous played 4 years at Bucknell.

Re: Transfer Portal 2025
I'd comment that while I assume this is largely accurate, there are athletes I know who are in the portal but not on this list FWIW.
Re: Transfer Portal 2025
That list has been a big help but it's definitely out of date. It includes guys who are no longer in the portal and is missing guys who have entered since it was posted. And it's really long. So that's why I've tried to cut it down to a smaller list of guys who a) a lot of people have heard of and b) we know for sure are actually in the portal. It's not going to include everyone but hopefully is pretty accurate re: the guys drawing the most interest.Late Slide wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 1:21 pmI'd comment that while I assume this is largely accurate, there are athletes I know who are in the portal but not on this list FWIW.

That's a good pickup, very versitile player, originally a Drexel commit, got buried on tOSUs bench - Wray can get the most out of that Canadian.GaitsRightHand wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 8:05 am Canadian Middie (transition player) Keaton Zavitz (OSU) to St Joe's

He’s a 6th year. Most kids don’t stay in college for 6 years just to play play D3 lacrosse. Not surprised he wants to play D1 should get interest from a lot of big schools.ChopMan23 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 11:33 amJack Dowd is interesting. He is definitely a D1 player (think he played at furman), however past teammates of his have done 6 years there. Jude Brown did 4 at St Marys then 2 at SU, Cross Ferrara did all 6 there. They have a great culture and are NC contenders every year. But he will impact any program that grabs him. him.BigMoose9 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:18 pmHe’s a 6th year. Never saw a shot he doesn't like. 145 shots in 2023 and 155 shots in 2024. With 48 and 45 goals in those seasons. Good size/speed and skilled. Could see him getting some pretty good looks.ChopMan23 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2024 12:38 pm He is definitely a D1 player (think he played at furman), however past teammates of his have done 6 years there. D2 Goalie - Dylan Renner (Adelphi) entering the Portal. Played his first season behind Will Mark at LIU. Won a D2 natty this year and was most outstanding player. Lil brother goes to Michigan, maybe he ends up there?
