Dan Kaplan posted that the final was York 18 Wagner 10 and Towson 4
York 0 (they only played a half)

I heard the score was 15-6 at the end of the 3rd and that’s when the starters we pulled.

Where is the detailed summary of the scrimmages?
Who started?
Who looked better than expected?
Who are the projected opening days starters?

I’d love to share, but there was an opposing team’s assistant coach who was moonlighting as an insider rolling around on here trolling York for a few seasons. I’m sure he still reads, and wouldn’t want to take his workload away by giving him a free scouting report.

They looked very good, and if you’re expecting a drop off, you would be mistaken. Looking forward to February 10th, when you’ll see all the weapons.

DeepPocket makes a good point so I guess we will have to go with the "its for me to know and you to find out response". heard some good thing though, York may be undervalued right now.

Indeed, it might sound silly or extreme. But the way that it appears he used his position granted portal access to publicize the transfer portal activity of an opposing team’s players wreaks of unprofessionalism.

Based on that action alone, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if this individual finds himself with future conduct or professionalism issues, made public or not. Good luck with that guy going forward.

Are you suggesting that we could have a University of Michigan scandal brewing in D3 lax. That would be crazy

I talked to someone that was there. Didn’t get details on players or anything. But York looks good. Moved the ball quick. All of the starting offense can score from almost anywhere. York could rotate 4 attack instead of sticking by with the starting 3

Fogo and goalie positions are deep this year.

Same takes. Depth is the key here. FO, G, SSDM, LSM, Mid-field, and Attack. The quality down the line is what will set this team apart. It will be an exciting year

This is why the York forum is unlike almost any other. I’m not criticizing the rationale, but if this isn’t proof of the “Cult of York” I don’t know what is

From my MAC thread post-

York’s roster of 48 returns 2 of their top 3 scorers (6 of their top 10). They are carrying 6 grad students, and bring in 2 transfers.

Their grad students are their 64% faceoff man, their top scoring attackman, their top shutdown close defender, their top SSDM, a starting middie, and a middie transfer who looks to be starting as well.

Their transfers are the aforementioned middie, Keogh from Mary Washington where he was the top scoring mid & second in points overall, and Harmon, a FO from Howard CC where he too went 64% at the dot.

York had one of the hardest OOC schedules last year, and with the departure of Lebanon Valley from the commonwealth, they’ve been able to put together even more of a beast this year, adding another nationally ranked foe in RPI.

The time was split vs Wagner starters. 0 and 8.

Guess you’ll just have to wait and see.

RPI is known for their 10 man ride apparently, so the talented youth at York will need to be prepped well for that as they enter their first college game.

I think the added experience sprinkled around the field for York will definitely help weather that storm.

What can I say. I’m lame. I put up a rough picture of the roster, returners and new comers. It’s posted here, and in the MAC thread. Watch some games and do some research. It seems like you are very impulsive in your responses in each of these threads. Slow down and you might actually grasp a little more in life.
