Hard to know on a formula for a "W," but it will have to involve compensating for Lehigh's great FOGO. So . . . great goaltending, strong ride, some good transition looks, while keeping it a low-scoring game?

I predominately watched the offensive starters. I noticed that 28 and 24 didn’t practice at all and weren’t dressed. It looked like 28 was limping when walking around and 24, who the heck knows.

Look for 6 and 14 to get some more time on Attack this week.

29, 8, 43, 10 and 19 must be dominant against Lehigh for the MIDS to be successful !

Navy is the underdog. Hopefully that will work in their favor today.

Following the stats. Lehigh's goalie has multiple saves. How has Navy's shooting been?

Something is not right with Navy Lacrosse right now. And I can't point to just one area.

Time to fire the “who should replace Amplo” thread eh?

How was the team under Ricky? 3/5 1st place finishes in the Pl and a quarters. Who built up two other programs from depths prior.

Meade had a great run from 04-09 but his entire career around that was 72-71 (70-26 in that 6yr stretch and a lot of .500 during the other 11yrs there).

There’s value in longer runways

Unfortunately winning the PL regular season title only gets you the #1 seed & home games,
...which only magnifies the failure to ever win a single PL tournament game.

I responded to Gymman by stating 'Coaching' in response to his statement - "....I can't point to just one area." If you can't say where 'not right' starts, begin with coaching and what is being taught, quite simple.

By no means did I intend to initiate a regime change discussion. Agreed that Coach A deserves plenty of runway and the bygone years are just that - by and gone. Coach A has had good success against Army West Point Mules of Highland Falls on the Hudson River and the season is young!

Healthy. There are some that like to initiate “why isn’t this team better, time for a change” or “how much longer does this dude have conversations” regularly. In fact if you look around you can see it quite plainly including coaching hot seat threads to the point that it’s a joke. Throw in the vitriol and idiocy over the departure of Meade and entire Sowell years and you’ve got a recipe for this happening here.

Turning HCs in less than five years in any sport is unhealthy.

Firing Meade was a mistake driven by wealthy alums
still living in the glory days of the 60s. He loved the Academy and treasured its traditions. He came within a goalie shoulder injury of winning a Title in the title game against Cuse. He could not lift his arm above his shoulder.

No mention of what happened to 29 at the 8:08 mark in the 3rd. I watched the hit a few times over and over and from the camera angle do not see anything that looks egregious. He required two people to assist him walking off the field, then is back on the field shortly thereafter. Cost the team a conduct foul...on the trainer? then Lehgih went on a quick short run.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Other than 09 that was the best title game this Millenium IMO

The 09 ending was wild, but the whole 04 game was great. SU's offensive efficiency in the 04 game was off the charts. I'm sure Russell being hurt helped a lot, because he made very few saves that game.

Watched the 04 game in a ESPN Zone in Times Square w a bunch of sailors there due to fleet week. I’m an upstate guy in general but Hobart had lost to Navy in OT in the PL finals (and had been hot, beat Cornell end of season to earn an At Large only to get sent to Ithaca for Rd 1) so I was conflicted like the masked guy in ski patrol on that one but enjoyed a heck of a game.
