Per twitter, Marians women’s lacrosse coach Corri Smeak is coaching both the mens and womens teams. Not sure if this is the plan for the spring, but that would be a first I’ve heard of someone coaching both

They still have two men's assistants listed on their staff directory.

She could be just helping them out until they hire a coach.

They have had a few candidates and interviews, I wonder what is taking so long

The coach at st Ambrose did both and was very successful but it’s not common

Besides saving another body on payroll, my understanding is the AD didn’t understand the differences between the men’s and women’s games. In the past, SAU has had head coaches double dip for soccer, track and field, volleyball, etc.
