Thanks for the heads up, very interesting. Any idea how the coaches feel about that? That's a big domino to move within the recruiting cycle, especially for a league like the ISL that covets NESCAC spots as much or more than anybody in the country.

First time they've done All-NEPSAC for boys lacrosse. ISL represented across Class A, B, & C.

Is this a coaches vote pole?

Rosters for the Bostonlax ISL v. MIAA "All American" game on July 6th: https://www.instagram.com/p/Ct1kRHBLYTP/

Congrats to all who were honored and I do like that they've added the competitive element. Probably the only event of the year where MIAA fans like the Catholic Conference being included. I can't speak to the strength of the MIAA roster, but if there were a year for them to snag a win from the ISL this would be it. Outside of goalies the 2023 class isn't on the level of last year or what's coming in 2024 and especially 2025.

Thoughts on the Nike National Team New England 2024 & 2025 Team?

I saw those rosters earlier today. They look quite strong. Not really surprised by any of the names that made it. A few I might of expected to see/made last year's squads were absent, but I don't know who had a less than stellar tryout, is injured, or just didn't try out because of scheduling conflicts. It could be a bit of my ISL bias but these teams look much stronger than the equivalent teams set to play in the New Balance All America event by Corrigan Sports. Not sure if that's the case with every region or just New England.

What do you think of the rosters WU2001?

A lot more commits in the NASG rosters as compared to Under Armour so yes, stronger though there is some overlap between the two teams

Edit: New Balance

No tryouts for Nike 2024 team..picked by the coaches/organizers..with so much going on a few who were asked likely couldn't commit to playing.

If anyone is attending/watching (not sure if there is a video feed) Some post game commentary will be appreciated. TIA

I haven’t seen anything about a stream (will post if I do), but I’m sure the Bostonlax YouTube channel will have clips up in the next few days.

Called it. 13-9 for the MIAA boys. Kevin Stone's Twitter (@kstone06) was covering it. 5-5 at the half and 12-7 close to the end of the game.

You sniped that Prediction. Good for MIAA. Weak ISL 2023 Class across the board.

Six juniors and four sophomores playing for the ISL last night speaks to that. On paper it looked like a good year for the ISL with BH beating Deerfield & Avon, and Seb's beating Taft. But Deerfield had the worst season in ages, AOF has been down for a bit, and according to the Taft people on here that team was missing some guys for that game.

It was really in the midfield and poles that this class didn't match up with the previous few. As I mentioned before, I think the 2024s look like a return to form and the 2025s should take it up a level - I expect a lot of commitments from that group this fall.

Stillwell wasn’t there, he was out of town - so was Brody Upton and a few other high level seniors for ISL. Assuming the 4th of July week vacation made for travel conflicts.

Upton was in the picture of the teams I saw on Twitter - he’s kind of hard to miss. It is tough timing for the event that probably causes players on both sides to skip.

Upton is in a bunch of the highlights (for the MIAA team) from the game
