I guess my question to the voters of the IL poll is, what 4 pollsters didn’t vote NC in the number 2 spot???

This actually looks pretty good to me - I think Florida and Denver are ranked a bit high, Rutgers and Drexel a bit low. Agree with MD at #4 and the big move by Michigan.

Denver should be 10th. Do you guys understand how consistent Liza Kelly's program is? Maryland should be in the top 10, but not 4th, not at this point.

Which team ranked 5-10 do you think should be ranked higher than MD? MD has beaten 2 ranked teams. Princeton is the only other school in that group that can make that claim and because of that I think Princeton is ranked too low.

So glad Duke continues being rewarded for its ridiculous out-of-conference schedule.

Yeah, it's weird if you base Duke's poll position on any body of work. I've tried to -- on the other thread for the Fanlax Poll -- find a realistic spot for Duke, which does, in fact, have some very able players. If you look there:

viewtopic.php?f=129&t=1703&start=480

You will see the highest Duke rates is No. 10 (Dr. Tact!!). The rest of the little crowd of pollsters has them at 13 and 14.

You make a valid point. Maryland is off to a good start.

I wasnt allowed to do my top 4 and everyone else....So, yeah, Duke was at the bottom of my poll.

USA Lax poll disses JMU

Post by OuttaNowhereWregget »

The Dukes beat the Terps convincingly in their own backyard yet finish a few spots behind them in this poll. Just stoopid.

I think this is to set up Cuse with a phenomonal upset win of #4.
