We have had better SSDM play as of late, but there are still too many cuts, especially from up top, where the SSDM is there but not bothering the shot enough. I may have some "recency" bias, but I'm going to bet on McDermott before Epstein. He just needs to get one to fall and I see more to follow. He is a very good dodger in traffic.jhu06 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 01, 2022 2:26 pm Time to throttle "NASCAR" and make a push to memorial day weekend. No game you want to win more than one where you can make a rivals prospective 6-18 year old fan base sad.
Dixon has an interview w/the rutgers coach which sounds like it was recorded in basements with awful old audio stuff. You can tell rutgers isn't putting all that big network cash into their communications equipment.

Jameson seems to have come in determined to build size/speed and depth options at lsm/ssdm. After two years, this is the week to see it pay off and harden into a unit that finally makes us unpleasant to play against in the middle of the field.
Epstein/Lyne are going to win us a big game down the stretch. Too much talent/character in those two uniforms and too much lacrosse left for them not to come up big.
Rutgers had a big win last week, knows maryland is next week and can smell the may possibilities. A bunch of their guys had all america midseason honors. This is an ultimate trap game opportunity to seize.

In Petro's defense, Cuse gave up 40 goals to ND in two games last season.Sagittarius A* wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:08 pm I saw Petro's defense just gave up 22 to Notre Dame today.
Big surprise.
I was hoping Cuse might turn out to be a quality win for us.
Doesn't look hopeful for that.
Benson consulted with an offensive coordinator at another school that developed a dynamic offense as he moved to Maryland.44WeWantMore wrote: ↑Sat Apr 02, 2022 6:08 pm At least Benson seemed to learn how to coach a great offense in no time at all.
