Maybe you haven’t seen him speak much before, but this is the way he is, and has always been. I live in the Philadelphia media market which covers Delaware politics so I have seen a lot of coverage about him over the decades.

Just because someone is inarticulate doesn’t mean they lack judgment or the ability to make good decisions. They are different skills.

And in any event, his opponent is just as inarticulate, or worse.

Hold the ponies there. It is not about Joe being inarticulate. It is about Joe sounding more and more like he has scrambled eggs between his ears. The joke about GWB was that he was inarticulate, and he was. The concerns about Joe Biden is that he no longer has a clue as to what he is talking about. Trying to pass that off as inarticulate is just trying to cover for what ever the hell is wrong with Joe. There is something way, way, way not right with Joe, the BS about being inarticulate just is not cutting it. Every time i hear him speak as of late he has clearly lost the ability to put together an understandable chain of thought without drifting off into mumbleville.

i watched my old man drift into dementia. I saw what it did to him day by day. i am not saying that this is Joes issue. The doctors can test for this and the results are fairly conclusive. Joe ain't right, Joe is far from right. You can make excuses for him all you want. Joe Biden has issues. i don't know what they are but this brief montage speaks volumes that something is not right with Joe. It ain't about being inarticulate.
nope, seen this 'montage'. Watched him in recent extended interviews as well.

I'm not seeing dementia, I'm seeing the same guy we've seen for decades, though older. His brain gets out in front of his articulation and the articulation gets lost, including errors he doesn't know he's made. But he immediately recognizes the error if corrected, no actual confusion. Those with dementia continue with the confusion.

you really shouldn't buy into right wing stuff.

I don't think Trump has dementia, but certainly he slurs and stumbles a lot, clearly he has difficulty reading. and he's certainly not as smooth in his speaking relative to when he was younger.

But that's not the issue with his thinking, it's that he actually has such difficulty thinking rationally. So prone to believe nonsense, has such difficulty differentiating truth from fiction. And we haven't gotten to how his ego turns him so childish, ala his whining yesterday when he was trying to get the Cuomo clip played to the press.

so, it's the actual decision making.
And this is just in the area of mental acuity and rationality.
" His brain gets out in front of his articulation and the articulation gets lost, including errors he doesn't know he's made."

A very nice attempt at covering for Joe. He is so smart his brain gets way too far in front of him when he is talking.

Sorry MD, i am not buying that. My own personal experience tells me otherwise. Joe has issues and they are getting worse. Your line that Joe is so smart his brain is too far in front of him is pure poppycock. You see what you want and i see what i see. What i see is a man who is in cognitive decline. The rate he is going he won't be able to discern from Putin to Khrushchev before too much longer.

Good ol' Cradle, always delivers on cue. Mr. Equal Opportunity Basher of Libs and Cons Alike. Here we have a pre-emptive, gratuitous strike on the likely Lib nominee for President, where he's twisting his panties in a knot over whose dementia is worse, Shrub Bush, Don Trump, Hil Clinton, Joe Biden. Like that really matters to ANYONE at this moment in time. What a hoot!

None of this type of folderol can hide the fact that Don the Con is very likely to get bounced out of office on his keister come November 3rd...so it's to be expected that the LDS (Lib Derangement Syndrome) types will start in this early.

Better perhaps for you guys to start in now about how UNFAIR it will be that Don Trump gets thrown into multiple prosecutions for the numerous instances found by Mueller of obstruction of justice once he's a private citizen...not to mention the numerous campaign finance crimes he committed in the run-up to 2016. Remember, this is the Very Serious Genius that paid off a Porn Star and a Playboy model to keep quiet about his sexcapades with them while his wife was home with their infant son...

Cue the LDS crowd...

He was not even close to being this scatterbrained when he spoke. I see something wrong with the guy. It could be I have the advantage that I have not been so close to the guy. He is not the same person he was 10 years ago when speaking, not even close.

I'm not trying to hide anything about Trump jaundice boy. i will point out the fact the Democrats are trotting out yet another sub standard candidate to take on Trump. The Democrats lecture all the time about how diverse and multicultural they are. Who do they drag out from the garbage heap to be their candidate... a semi senile old white guy. So much for diversity there bub.

Of course Mr Dis, being one yourself, I can see your affection for semi senile old white guys. ;)

Dunno what you mean by not so close to the guy. He's been prominently in the public eye since the 80's and his first attempt to run for President, then his role in the Senate in some very public hearings. Always stumbled a bit. Known for it.

but go ahead an think his age has slowed him a step...I'd agree.
Wasn't my preferred candidate out of the Dem field, but he does have the advantage of known appeal to working class voters in key swing states.

I just don't think this critique of being old and slower afoot holds up in comparison to Trump. Binary choice.

 No way. Biden is known for silly gaffes...this is well beyond gaffes. You're deluding yourself by not recognizing or admitting the decline. I can't watch...feel sad for the man.

Getting political news on the DNC and what it should do from the National Review is about as stupid an idea as I have heard in a while, and yet, PB, you insist on labeling democrats as the stupid ones. Stupid is as stupid does as they say.

So weird, I thought Democrats supported anti-Trumpers like NR, you know, in the pursuit fo country over party and all that jive? Should we boycott NR's advertisers?

Dunno what you mean by not so close to the guy. He's been prominently in the public eye since the 80's and his first attempt to run for President, then his role in the Senate in some very public hearings. Always stumbled a bit. Known for it.

but go ahead an think his age has slowed him a step...I'd agree.
Wasn't my preferred candidate out of the Dem field, but he does have the advantage of known appeal to working class voters in key swing states.

I just don't think this critique of being old and slower afoot holds up in comparison to Trump. Binary choice.
By not close i mean that before he became VICE POTUS I was not very familiar with him. I admit I like Joe Biden a lot. In his own words for me it was a big F***ing deal. Neither my opinion or yours matters a hill of beans right now. YOUR Republican party is going to eviscerate Joe Biden using similar montages that I posted as this campaign for POTUS moves forward. If the Democrats sole explanation is that this is a side effect of Joes stuttering. I don't know what to tell you? That explanation in an election for POTUS is like that dog that wont hunt. Joe looks like a punch drunk boxer the more he talks. Most over the hill boxers know when to step out of the ring. Joe wants to go another 15 rounds. Sorry Joe, too much, too little and way to late. I think the Dems will come to their senses during their convention and find a candidate that can speak in cognitive sentences. King Andy is waiting in the wings and he is the new darling of the Democrat Party. God help us all that that obnoxious crooked bastard could be waiting in the wings.

 No way. Biden is known for silly gaffes...this is well beyond gaffes. You're deluding yourself by not recognizing or admitting the decline. I can't watch...feel sad for the man.

There is some stunning new info. The Lincoln Project... a bunch of never Trumpers working diligently to defeat Trump. A bunch of RINO folk who love hearing all those concession speeches when their candidates lose bigly. :D

Not the actual total of COVID deaths - but ones analyzed by the CDC. There are footnotes/endnotes that explain this.

Truly the worst group in America, the whole Rick Wilson, Tom Nichols, Charlie Sykes, gang of losers. Total shysters. Sarah Longwell publisher is practically psychotic...not even kidding.

Want to know who funds The Lincoln Project and The Bulwark? Try Pierre Omidyar and George Soros. Interesting funding team of 'principled conservatives'.

Without any question (and even for you TDS-coholics), this is the funniest video ever produced in politics. Say what you want about Trump, but the guy's social media group is incredibly gifted.

This video has already been seen in 24 hours over 30,000,000x on various distribution channels.

Sound up and go to the end:

I would not be surprised if George Soros was the cash cow behind this group of FLP Republican scumbags. The RINO Republicans love losing elections to Democrats. Those fantastic concession speeches are the thing RINO scumbags do best. I wonder if these scumbag RINO folks have evered heard of a victory speech? Crazy me... what was I thinking. ;)

Finally the dems are doing something that would make sense. I wonder if Joe remembers who Michelle Obama is? There is a good chance ole Joe might confuse her for the Obama daughters. I remember her, her hair smelled awesome. I think it was Pantene.
