VERY nice pick. He was a great HS player (played Attack) but will run mid at Duke. I was hoping he might drop, but not expecting it. I could see him in the mix for 2 way mid work on the 2nd or 3rd line this year, but most likely stater as a junior...

Thanks nclaxin! I had a good feeling he would be available with my 3rd pick. I reckon he's got a pretty good lax IQ being a coach's kid. If he's anywhere near as good as the head coach's kid was I'll be delighted!! Dad's a super nice guy too!!

Whole family is great and very willing to work with the surrounding community. He will be a good pick simply due to work ethic.

Haha!! I had him penciled in on Friday, but long weekend and Sunday fun day almost lost him. I did give you a chance, glad I got him! 3 for 3 thus far on my wish list....early Christmas!!

I drafted him last year and didn't drop any underclassmen from my roster, I think. I certainly didn't do so intentionally.

Yup. Ruttan is CA's. NJ is taking Grant Maloof SR M Towson instead.

I see what happened. Rutan was mis-spelled so there ended up being two Ruttan/Rutans. One with CA and one on the undrafted list. Checked that Ruttan didn't get shorted any points last season and... He didn't. CA only started him twice and... No harm done.
