Interesting development this year more than half way through the season in that every major poll (Nike/IL Media, USLaxmagazine, USILA, FanLAx) and even the outlier (Quint) have the same 11 teams in the top 11 slots albeit in different orders. Probably a one year anomaly brought about by the lack of Ivy participation. A return to anywhere near normal will likely preclude this from ever happening again.

I don't think that this is a first. year after year after year, i complain about the enormous groupthink. and, obviously, i still am...

I obviously disagree that this condition is common in that my proposition states the opposite. Year in year out I find the various polls have different biases. USLax tends to favor teams closer to Baltimore, USILA tilts towards bluebloods, Nike/Media the flavors of the year, Fanlax always with some outliers given the eclectic favorites among the pollsters. At any rate in working up my votes for this week's Fanlax poll there will be a good deal of shifting around among the top 11, and at the moment I am inclined to expand the top 11 to 12 with the inclusion of Delaware in my top ten. With so few OOC games there isn't much to judge teams on beyond the eye test and how they perform among their peers and under pressure.

Hey I've got Bart at 20. Shouldn't I get a little love as well? Given the right "circumstances" I could probably get them up to 15 with another win this week.

Wheels, I don't want to give the appearance of collusion but what to you think a top ten vote or two would be worth to the Bart fans on the board.? The Statesmen would have to earn it by keeping on winning of course!

Wheels has Rutgers @4 . Based on what? Playing #1 Maryland well? The rest of the schedule is ok, but zero top20 wins . At #4? Salisbury & Tufts could beat Hopkins & Michigan, and this is not being smart a$$.
