Watched it yesterday and I don't think games get any better than this one. The pace of the game, the physicality, intensity...this is without question one of the best NC games ever played. Wow, just wow!!!

Still looking for two games that were shown on TW replay at the time but have since disappeared (seemingly): 2005 Syracuse at Hobart (won by Syracuse, 13-12) and 2013 Hobart at Syracuse (won by Hobart 13-12). Both were excellent games.
I don't have either of these, sorry.....my library is 80's and 90's with a few exceptions.

Do you have '86 or '87 games? The '86 SU/Hobart game is on youtube, but 4th quarter is missing..

97 was a hell of a game too. One of about 6-8 we let slip through our hands. (1 goal losses to #14 ND, #12 PSU and #3 Syracuse, story of most of our D1 lives, until a couple of years ago we had lost like 15 straight OT games to ranked teams).

Up here in WNY, lot's of chatter about local boy Larson Sundown headed to Cuse now that he is in the portal. I'm sure most everyone knows who he is and what he did at Onondaga and now Limestone. What do you think? Is Cuse set at Attack and both 1st and 2nd Middie groups? Is there room for Larson Sundown somewhere?

 That's my channel....the 86 game. I'm REALLY sorry I don't have the 4th quarter for that game.

The 87 game is there for you right now:

Really great game, and like the 86 game, it shows that Ray Gilliam was the best attackman in the sport those years, regardless of Division.

IMHO, of course.

Syracuse, N.Y. -- Looks like Syracuse lacrosse has found a replacement to help fill in for departing All-American defender Nick Mellen.

According to Inside Lacrosse, Mitch Wykoff is transferring to SU from Division III Gettysburg. Wykoff is the No. 2-ranked prospect in Inside Lacrosse’s list of Division II and III players entering the transfer portal. Wykoff is a senior who will have an added year of eligibility because of the NCAA’s waiver for spring sports athletes whose seasons were cut short by the coronavirus.

Report: Ex-Syracuse lacrosse middie heading to Orange rival
By Lindsay Kramer | [email protected]
Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse lacrosse midfielder Jared Fernandez is transferring to Johns Hopkins, according to Inside Lacrosse.

Fernandez, who will be a senior, was one of the Orange’s top long-stick middies and also handled wing chores on faceoffs.

Fernandez was the No. 1-ranked player on Inside Lacrosse’s list of underclassmen in the transfer portal.

“Making up for a lack of size (5-7, 170 lbs.) with uncanny speed and ability off the ground, Fernandez was a tremendous asset as the Orange’s primary longstick on the wings of face-offs,” Inside Lacrosse wrote. “The 2017 Power 100 recruit made an early impact as a rookie after graduating from IMG Academy (Fla.) but suffered a season-ending injury against Virginia — since then, he has played in 21 of 22 games while recording 57 groundballs and 17 caused turnovers.”

Freshman attack Sean Donnelly is also on that list, and SU sophomore midfielder Andrew and Justin Kim are grouped among a second ranking of players to watch.

Fernandez will play for new JHU coach Peter Milliman, who takes over with the Blue Jays after leaving Cornell.

Outside of Fernandez I wouldn't think anyone else is much of a surprise. Once Porter said he was coming back that probably sealed Strang's fate and the rest of the guys are offensive players that most likely weren't gonna see much time in the next couple seasons. Can't say I'd blame some of these kids for maybe going to a smaller program that's cheaper and they could get a lot more playing time.

Lipka isn't a surprise?

I believe he did and that he's looking to go to grad school and maybe Syracuse doesn't offer that program/he wants to go somewhere closer to home? In that regard no I don't think it's that much of a surprise.

Orange better hope that their first midfield stays healthy because one IR away from being a average offensive team.

Ehh they still have some promising depth, especially with Rehfuss and Trimboli coming back. Buttermore is a legit middie. Seebold and Quinn still looked solid in reserve. Hiltz is the most promising offensive recruit this year not named O'Neill. Still think they could use a stronger dodging attack as Cook is yet to live up to his potential, but if a 1st line middie goes down I am not too worried about finding a capable next man up.
