+1. I watched it from the upper deck of Ravens Stadium.
I recorded the game in my dvr's memory from a VHS tape.
Every Memorial day I rewatch that game, then watch the movie Blackhawk Down.
Just finished them both. That's my Mem Day remembrance.

I was in the team celebration. In case we won, thinking about Coach Moran's love of the gin & tonic, I brought a gallon of gin for the party, which was held in a room close to Scott Stadium. During the party, I lifted the bottle to move it to another location at the makeshift bar & I heard a voice from the other side of the room: "Where are you going with that?" It was Coach. LOL!CU77 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 2:50 pmBest part of that one (played at UVa) was the PA announcement near the end that the Cornell Club of Virgina was hosting a free after-party, all Cornell fans invited!laxfan1313 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 1:01 pm 1977. Before the game, Eamon ran 3 miles through the streets of Charlottesville to, as he explained, "take the edge off." As the teams were in their pre-game huddles, Eamon burst into the JHU huddle and yelled "We're going to kick your ass!" Coach Ciccarone took a swing at Eamon and luckily missed. In the pregame handshakes at midfield, Eamon was famous for yelling "tick, tick, tick..." until an opponent would ask why he was saying that. A teammate would invariably explain: "A bomb is about to explode." 47 years later, Eamon still holds the record for most points in an NCAA tourney, 25 and in only 3 games. Timmy Goldstein tied him in 1987 but in 4 games.OCanada wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 5:02 pmMy memoranle moment from that game. Hoos calls a time out. Maybe score was 8-0. Eamon runs by the Hookins team and yells “ you guy suck” one way to his benchCU77 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 2:50 pmBest part of that one (played at UVa) was the PA announcement near the end that the Cornell Club of Virgina was hosting a free after-party, all Cornell fans invited!laxfan1313 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 1:01 pm 1977. This is the answer. Skipped my senior prom to watch this game. As an incoming freshman at Princeton the following fall, it was amazing to see my team take down 'Cuse.tech37 wrote: ↑Mon May 27, 2024 7:49 am 1992... Soldier Field. Princeton's first NC after upsetting defending champ UNC in semis w/ Cuse beating Hopkins. Tierney's team then stuns lax world taking down a loaded SU team in OT on Monday.

Andy Moe goes end to end on the face off to close out the W.

Bacigalupo playing like that in OT after that botched long pass which led to the tying goal was amazing! Actually, I believe he had at least two saves on Dom Fin in OT. One was off the helmet after Cuse called a timeout. And the first came after an amazing move by Dom. Batch simply raised his shoulder and got a piece of it.tech37 wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 2:33 pmYes, field name correction made on a prior page this thead.gymman1031 wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 1:55 pmExcellent choice! Another amazing moment in OT just before Moe stuck the winner was Dom Finn makes a beautiful dodge leaving himself all alone on the crease and Bachculupo (sp) stones him. Thought for certain the game was over right then and there. 1992 play of the year IMHO. Finn to this day must still have night sweats over that one.
