Broadcast crew - thought they did well under the circumstances. Tough camera angle at midfield; they were smart to have additional feeds near the goals. For what it's worth, the Marquette bubble has a dark blue background near field level ... white balls = good visibility for goalies. Orange and green balls can be difficult to see in there.

PS, ND has played Marquette a dozen times ... 90% of the time in South Bend. Fans whining won't have to worry about the Marquette broadcast again for a few years ;)

DocBarrister wrote: Sun Feb 18, 2024 8:56 pm Having watched Faison play football for the Fighting Irish, I am not surprised at all that he’s already scoring goals for the lax team.

I suspect he will soon turn his attention 100% to football.

haha you'd like that wouldn't you? :lol: Actually, local expert Nick Ossello does say it's not possible to play both lacrosse and football at the D1 level, especially at Notre Dame so he will have to choose! :lol:

Notre Dame looking real sloppy with 3 failed clears in the 1Q and down 2

Entenmann is so good. Man. He covers up so many defensive lapses.

Gtown struggling more with winning 1 on 1 match-ups. JMHO, but Anderson has out-dueled Entenmann through 2Qs

Not a fan of that 2 minute unreleasable. Thought the contact was below the head and neck and rolled up

ND showing they're ranked #1 because they won it all last season, not because of what they have in 2024. https://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=517025

Missed moving pick into a very soft penalty call at 8-8 feels pretty important

What the ell was that call ?!

Should have been a save and a re-set and ball back to G-town w/ re-set 60 sec. shot clock.

cotter never has any idea what's going on on the field.
pipe = save
save = pipe
witholding cause ball doesn't come out = loose ball hold

edit: ball is not in the sun = ball in the sun

Like two in-game breaks and they just never even addressed why ND was awarded possession after the Entenmann save (it was a loose ball so one team would have had to win it.) Amazing telecast

Cotter thinking the Georgetown guy going back over the midline on the clear was an over and back not called right before that was the perfect finish
